Someone called on my cellphone with 4033874000 saying they were from Telus regarding the laptop offer and wanted to know the type of credit card and the first four numbers. Is this authentic?

Just received a call from this number and they did not leave a message. I assume it was one of those "DEAR VALUED CUSTOMER..." type calls.

These jerks called my cell, but there was no one there when I answered.

I got called because I set up Internet service with them. But I live in BC. Don't know why they use Alberta Calgary number! Strange

Call was from Telus Mobility Alberta customer service dept. Call was an automated reminder that my prepaid cell phone minutes for phone number XXX-XXX-XXX are about to expire in 5 days and needed to be renewed. Good thing they called or otherwise I would have lost over $90 worth of airtime. Advised me to call #123 from my mobile phone to top up and extend my airtime expiry.

I've been getting calls from this number, which is telus, but it's because I had a pay and talk phone from them for a (very horrible) month and my previous / current cellphone number is listed as the home number on the pay and talk account.. No way I am staying with telus. Virgin mobile is much better.

you are out of minutes when you are not on a pay as you go plan
or telling you a number that's not yours.....

is it a scam... do they ask for anything????

I didn't answer, cuz I didn't know the #, they left msg from Telus saying that I'm almost out of minutes.... Funny thing was, in the msg they repeat a # back to me which is not my phone # AND I'm not even with Telus

I just had a call from 403-387-4000. It was near 8pm. Didn't answer because it said Unknown Name. It went to message but the message was blank. Sounds like Telus to me.

Got a call from this number now.  Didn't answer, hate numbers that look funny.  No voice mail left.

calls are consistent 5:35pm & 7:20pm, everyday, didn't answer for i didn't recognized the #

Caller left a message, told me i was a valued telus customer and that my cell was out of minutes and to top up. My cell is not out of minutes!!
