They recruit people for their focus groups then try to screw those people out of getting the honorariums they promised. DO NOT LISTEN TO THESE PEOPLE HANG UP IMMEDIATELY.

the group is E-Style research in calgary. i do focus groups for them on occasion. the are legite and are with the bbb. I am doing a shopping focus group tommorrow and the honorarium is $100.00

Got a call on Sunday evening, January 13/08 - they asked another family member for me by (real) name - a polite and pleasant-sounding young man asked if I'd be interested in taking part in an on-line survey about shopping that would take several hours. Offered $50 to $100, which sounds awfully tempting (therefore suspicious!). I asked where they got my name - said they were random calling - name is in phone book, so it's possible. I asked for more details - they said they would have more information forthcoming - I gave them my e-mail address. I called the phone number as given by *69, and got a typical voice mail for a business by the name shown below. We'll see what happens next...
