I received a call from this number claiming that my son was hurt in the school yard and to send money to the hospital to pay for the ambulance wow I freaked out but later tried to call this number and was always busy

I just got a call from this number, a guy named mashir who wanted to give me a Honda civic and 1.3 million dollars. He couldn't tell me my name, address or email. He said I was chosen because "you pay your bills on time". The least believable scammer ever.

This number called me this morning. It was a man asking if I had a windows computer. I feigned ignorance and said I didn't have a personal computer. He hung up.


I'm guess they want to sell something to do with windows. Or install some sort of malware onto your computer.

I WAS AWOKEN AT 6.40AM AND VERY WORRIED BECAUSE A SIMILAR CALL HAD BROUGHT ME VERY BAD NEWS. I COULD NOT RETURN THE CALL AS IT WAS BLOCKED . THIS IS A VERY REAL INVASION OF MY PRIVACY.D6F8 IS MY VALIDATION CODE.

I got a call from this number today.  A rep from "Windows Operating System", wanted to talk to me about my computer sending errors.  I told him that it this call was bullsh#t, and there was no possible way for him to know what my computer was doing.  I've had this call numerous times.  He then told me over & over that I was bull$hit.  I told him to F off, and to never call here again.  He told me to F off.  I said he called me, and is not being very rude and ignorant to me.  He then told me that he was going to Fu#k me hard!!  This person was a complete jerk.   Beware!

I just got the same call from 403-410-7313 from an Indian accented girl saying my PC had virus.  I asked her if she could see into my PC.  She said yes.  I then asked her to tell me something I knew was in my PC.  The call went 'click' and she was gone.  This happened the same way once before but the caller ID showed unknown.

Called from India claiming my Windows computer has been hacked and is sending out messages. She did her speech three times and then transferred me to a Senior Technical support Windows specialist...who was apparently in Florida (not!). I then told him exactly what would happen was that I would download a free program that would allow him to place files on my computer and then sell me a program to clean it up.  I then informed him that I don't even own a Windows computer when he started yelling a me calling me a HACKER and then hung up. I get these calls all the time and am just sick of it, their tactics changed a little this time - at least I am aware of these scams!

This is actually A1 Credit collection call.  The return number is 877-619-3779.  They use this number if you don't answer the 877 number to try to trick you into answering a local call.

Got this one today. Did not answer and added it to my call blocking once I saw via this website that it was bogus.

Just got a call from this number on my business line. The woman asked if I was the one in charge of making CC transaction decisions. I told her to take me off her calling list.
The area code did not appear on my display.

the guy had an Indian accent and said he was from Internet Security, and that my computer had been sending junk out over the internet.  Heard about this scam a few months back, they get you to go to a website and install their "cleaner" (probably full of viruses) and then get you to pay for with your credit card, naturally.  Bunch of tools.

I got a call yester saying they were telus.... they were not! dont give any info...

Earlier in the day I kept getting calls from a blocked number.  I picked up and the guy claimed to be a representative from Bell - my phone company.  He had an accent so I couldn't fully understand him but was saying something along the lines of an offer with a free phone.  I said I was busy, and he said he'd call back later.  I didn't answer the calls and then I get a call from the number listed above, again I didn't answer.

I just called up Bell and asked them about it, and I was informed that if Bell ever calls its customers, the caller ID appears as Bell.

I did recieve the exact same call as A above previously but it showed up as blocked. I called both Bell, and Solo and neither could confirm they have this promotion going on, nor give me a straight answer.

This time this number showed up but I missed the call.

Maybe they're related?

This number came through as a fax. I suspected it was spam and simply hit the cancel button before it could print.

We regularly get this number come up as a fax call. We leave our machine permanently unplugged and have been doing that for the past 18 months. Before that, we literally only got about 6 legitimate business related faxes per year and the dozens of others were all spam. Last year we saved about $200 just on ink because these idiot spammers can no longer get through to our fax machine.

Eventually we will boot the stupid fax machine out the 10th floor window once I can finally get the owner here sufficiently trained to STOP USING IT and switch completely to email. Anyone who still relies on faxes to do business belongs with the dinosaurs.

This phone number has called a few times, no message and will not allow a return call.

If you do reverse look up on 411 it comes up as a landline via Bell in Chinatown Calgary.  You have to pay to get the name and I'm not that interested - just blow a loud whistle into you phone if you answer.

I got this call about 10 minutes ago which it would be 3:26 AM Mountain Time on march15/2011 .
