Recieved call from this number. Recording came on saying 'Hi my name is so and so and I have just one question for you.  It won't take long.' I hung up. Basically the same call as mh recieved above. Bizarre, I thought the National Do Not Call List was supposed to eliminate this garbage??? You can report numbers on the Canadian Gov't webiste though....

I just started getting calls today, when I answer they don't say anything.

Did anyone else recently order pizza from Pizza Hut and have a really pissed off driver deliver it? I'm wondering if that dude keeps numbers.

I haven received a few call from this number on my Cell phone and the most recent one is Sunday Sep 26 at 11:53 am (so almost noon). I called it back today and just got a dial tone..

I am very Very very pissed off.. I pay for a Blocked Number that doesn't display on caller id's to whom I am calling.. I am with Rogers and They say they can't do anything.. I also pay for Call Manager that I can block specific numbers from calling.. ie: when a number shows up I just go online and type it in and "POOF" they can't get through anymore.. A**holes..

But what infuriates me is all numbers like this.. WHY WHEN WE ARE PAYING can ROGERS do absolutely NOTHING about them.. not even.. Oh we have a list of numbers we are getting a lot of complaints about, let me add this to the list or see if its already there and block it AS A WHOLE NETWORK.. I am very selective to who I give my CELL number to and If i get a private caller or a number i don't know you are going to get attitude from me.. THIS IS MY F^&*ING CELL... WHO THE F^&K ARE YOU...WHY ARE YOU CALLING..

I think the governments should be passing bills on stronger personal information security and BANNING Companies from going outside to have call centers.. Those Countries like the Philippines and India have different morals and laws and probably think its cool to be able to call someone in Canada.. MY BANK of all things has call centers in the PHILIPPINES...now that is messed

And the reason I am bringing this up because I have been a victim of callers from GHANA (Beside TOGO close to Nigeria) They harassed me for months and I would answer and they would be speaking their language That I DON"T understand.. But yet THEY ARE CALLING MY CELL PHONE.... How they got my number IS what pisses me off.. And good ol' ROGERS WIRELESS said they could do S**T about it..

WE NEED AMENDED LAWS.. I am just sick of being harassed and not really being able to do much..

Received multiple calls from this number (403-444-4970), was told i won 2nd prize, but need to purchase some insurance before i can claim this prize, was told to call a Macau number 011-853-6213-6960.

Also got this random called. Some chinese female spoke gibberish on the voicemail and hanged up.

Did not answer this call.  No message left on machine...just blank.  Must be an autodialer as the same number soon called my seperate fax number.  The fax is off and it must have rang 20+ times before they gave up.  So much for a do not call list. Caller ID: (403) 444-4970 "Unknown Name".

Just got a call from this number, asking if I spoke chinese then hang up.
I made a complain on the site "sadas" suggested above.
From now on I will complain about any single call I get, maybe one day it will make a difference and these stupid people will stop calling.
I don't even know how they go the number since it's a cell that I only use for emergencies and do not disclose anywhere.

This number has called my office line 6+ times today within 3 hours.

They keep asking for myself, or 3+ employees (they know their names which is odd). Everytime my receptionist tells them she's transferring the call to them, they hang up while on hold.

This is pissing me off!

Got 2 calls from this number today. It was my aunt in Hong Kong calling me. I know only because she called me at the house number after I rejected the call from 403-444-4970 on my cell. She said she had called me earlier today (the first time I rejected the call). This number seems to be some covert/redirect line of some sort. Why is this type of calling possible anyway when scams are so rampant?? Why can't they just show the real phone number??

In the past when I receive calls (on my cell) from Hong Kong, the caller ID had been a 604 number. Now, it's this 403-444-4970.

I recieved a call from this number but missed it when I tried to call it back the line didn't even ring it just went back to dial tone....no harm done just annoying!

I am getting calls from this number on my buisness cell and he said my name is khalil and i need to paint my house red color  he always calling after mid night  4 to 5 times and during day tooI donnot know who is this crazy person   , he siad iam from india

I just miss this call during routine meeting this morning and I called back after, what I heard was only echo noise, don' know it charged or not.

Have been keeping track of the calls from this number: 403-444-4970 since October 2008. Have recorded some calls before 6am and the worst one, on Christmas day if you can believe it! They always come as a fax, though we do not have a fax machine. Have tried to send a fax (free online site) to ask them to stop but never works. Have also tried reporting to the DNCL but so far that hasn't worked either... since they require a copy of the fax you received... how to do that when you don't have a fax machine!

Hi. This number is a payphone from the Lake Louise Area. It is not any sort of mystery. The calls are likely from a number of people and that is why there are a number of things happening. People get wrong numbers. :)

I had recieved a call from this number, but i had not answered it. However there was voice mail from the caller. The caller said "Hello" two times in a questioning tone...  The only reason i would ask this is because there is someone i am trying to avoid, and it made me concerned that it could be this person!
