Someone from this number has called several times, doesn't leave a voice mail.  It's getting annoying.

I agree, I checked the # on the internet and it came up without an ID.  Telemarketers use this method of changing numbers frequently so no sense blocking them.  I get tons of calls from strange numbers that don't leave messages, every day. Some ID themselves some don't.  It's just a nuisance to have to continuously delete them.
I have thought to change my number but then I'd be stuck with that number's prior calls too.  Going private or unlisted is no guarantee that these calls will stop and going unlisted would create inconviences for me anyway.

their phone number in calgary is 403-543-1620.  i just phoned them to complain about the hang-up phone calls i regularly get from one of their phone numbers (the most recent one ending in 1627).  the girl took down my number and said she would request that my number be removed from their list.  time will tell if that actually happens.

yeah i got a call from them asking for someone in my house when i asked who was calling, they hung up so i tried calling back and nothing...so i googled U C C of canada and i got direct buy! they say they have nothing to do with the number....

These arsehats also call, relentlessly (I've received 3 calls this morning; at 10:45, 11:01 and 11:15am), from this #: 403 543 1624.  They are now call-blocked though I suspect these c0ckroaches will just call from one of their many other numbers.   This is blatant harassment.  How can they get away with this?   Aren't there laws about telemarketers?  I thought there were new rules about who was legally allowed to do this?

If UCC of Canada is really Direct Buy you wonder why Direct Buy is so ashamed of themselves that they have to hide behind something other than their real name.

A friend of mine got involved with them and found out what a scam they are. First be prepared for a long initial meeting. You can't compare prices but you will be hammered for hours until you sign up. If you do compare prices you will find they have no significant savings over a well negotiated deal with a private company. The private company will also stand behind there product and installation far better.

Just ignore them.

UCC of Canada is DirectBuy.  It's likely a solicitation.

my ID reads: U C C of Canada, yet, I don't know what that is. When I ring it, I get a message from Telus saying the call can't be completed. My guess is a telemarketer.
