This number is a fake.   It is NOT actually from Canada as it shows on caller ID, this is a VoIP internet number used by some Indian (Pakistani ?) caller trying to "buy" bonds from you or through you.

Not sure of the exact scam going on here, but it appears as if Habib, Duane, Rahamahrajahi or what ever this guy is going by this minute is looking to send you some worthless Certified bank checks, money orders or wire transfers for the purchase of government bond you may be holding.

This guy didn't seem to know the difference between crap and apple butter without tasting it - so I doubt many would fall for his scam - but as he works his way through his callers, he may pick up a bit more info and become more convincing.

Just beware when Habib the Harasser comes calling on you...

The tip off was that they want you to send in copies (via email of course - to their gmail address) which include asking you for the following-

Fully filled out Know Your Customer form (google this for details)
A copy of your Passport/POL  
...and of course, your account info from your banking institution with all of the details.

hmmm....scam?   I think so.  

With all of that the little Habib'er could duplicate your passport and travel to commit terrorist acts under your name.    How about explaining that suicide bombing in Walla Walla, Pakistan to the authorities while you're still alive and well in Orlando, Florida - having never left the USA?

Like Nancy Reagan said, just say 'No'.
