Called and left a message but it was just background noise.

I also received call from 1403 648-3978 twice this week, one on June 13, 2013. No message was left but saw it on the call display. Thanks for advising to register to the "Canada Do Not Call Marketing list".

This number calls me every second day....the call display shows a code like......VO .....FOLLOWED BY NUMBERS.
NEVER A MESSAGE....OH JUST NOW AGAIN..
I LIVE ON MY OWN .......MY PHONE SUPPOSE TO BE UNKNOWN AND UNLISTED.....U DONT JNOW WHO THEY ARE.

We are unlisted phone number and also the do not call list. BELL AND ROGERS COULDNT CARE LESS ABOUT PHONE CALL HARRASSMENT.should really be a class action law suit (s,) with these greedy media conglomerates !

Found this horn in the Greeting Card/Gift Wrap section.

I bought a mini air horn from US Walmart (about 5 bucks) , couldn't find it in Walmart Canada.
Every time I get one of these BS calls, I make sure first that I  have their caller on line with me.

Then, they get the shrill blast of the air horn directly into the telephone receiver.  It has really cut down the volume of these calls.  I have zero sympathy for these Morons.

p.s. Have used this horn about 8 times and it still has gas left.

I usually answer and put the phone on mute - and wait for them to say something and hang up.  If there is no answering machine picking up the don't really know what has happened to the call - its just dead.  Most cold callers get tired of this and stop calling.

Whoever this number represents, they are pissing me off.  They ring the house, I don't answer, then the cell rings.  The first call I had from this number started out with asking me to participate in a survey.  I figure "NO" should have been fairly clear.  But they still keep calling, every damn day, average of twice on each phone!!

I've been receiving many calls day and night from this company despite being on the "do not call list" and I even have this number blocked by my phone provider. The calls still come through. They hang up every time we answer. I'd love to sue them for invasion of privacy and nuisance calling.

Just got the call Feb 7, 2013, She asked me if we recycled, if the there were smokers in the house, if we had pets, and then asked if I was the lady of the house.  I of course said no.  I am on the CRTC no call list too and I also have an unlisted number.

These A-holes have been calling me all day like 12 times then hanging up.  I guess I can relish in the fact that these are stupid poor b*****ds who wish they were a homeowner and had a job that was actually fullfilling instead of fumbling through life.

They will just say that they call on a rotating list but they are supposed to be checking / validating their lists from the Canada Do Not Call Marketing list. Unfortunately, companies like this are disreputable and it is why we will still get these kinds of calls. What these callers are doing is wrong. period.

I just received a call from this number 403-648-3978. I have an unlisted number and it is on the DO NOT Market list.
I have relatives in Alberta, and did not do a double check on the number before answering. The Girl started off with her schpeel and I told her flatly, remove my number it is not to be called under any marketing scams. She hung up on me.

This number has been calling me on and off for 3 weeks, when i pick up the phone and say hello if no one speaks i hang up. I've tried to call the number back but it's always busy.

I looked in to this because it's really getting under my skin.

The company who owns the number is call Iristel (http://www.iristel.ca/contact/).  I spoke with them and they were nice enough, however, they are a reseller and have sold the number to someone else.

They said they would contact their client and ask them to stop the calls to my number.  That being said the company has offices listed in Romania and the Republic of Moldova which makes me question the legiticy of this company.

They have called twice in the past week. I do not answer "unknown name" calls.

This number calls my house 3-4 times a day. I have 3 small children and do not have time for this bull. I hung up on them right after they asked me (with a baby crying in the back round) "is this s good time?" i said no, don't call back. They don't get the message so next time I will make sure they do! I'm going to pick up and go to the other line, wait 10 mins, come back and ask them if that was annoying, then hang up.

I get calls from this number several times a day, always a blank line if I answer or a blank line if it gets the voicemail.  How do I get them to stop calling my line?

Started receiving calls from this number a few days ago. They cal several times a day and when I pick up nobody is there.

Just got a call from them they asked me a few questions and at the end he was saying they are going to call about a prize told him not to contact me again. Man they are getting cocky as the days roll past.

Someone, or an electronic calling system has called us a number of times in the last week or so. Last night I answered the phone and waited until they started to talk. I informed the individual that we were on the Nat. DNC list and told them they would be reported if they called again - no further calls yet.

I got a call from this number yesterday,the woman said I would get a "gift" if I took a short survey.She asked if I was a smoker,had any pets,any allergies or asthma and if I was single or married.She then said they would call later to set up a day on when I would receive my "gift". So far she hasn't called back but I don't plan on answering that number because it sounds like something vacuum cleaner companies use to get their foot in the door.

First time getting an annoying call from this number just as I entered the loooong line at Tim Hortons!  I thought it had something to do with their new WiFi!

Not sure of the company that called as they don't speak clear english.
They keep calling our business number for a survey and winnings.??

Sorry forgot to mention, the call was over an environmental concern.

Received 5 phone calls from this number in 3 days. This company of auto diallers or research group should be shut down.
