I have been receiving repeatedly calls from this number on consecutive days.  Definitely an auto-dialer as it leaves voice mail with dead air.  I thought they would stop eventually, but my patience ran out and I called back.  To my surprise, they have a voice mail!  It's the Calgary Herald calling for "special promotion"!  In the voice mail message, the voice states that you can ask to have your phone number removed from the calling list.  You must clearly state your area code and phone number and it will be done within 24 hours.  Hopefully that does the trick, otherwise I'm filing a complaint.

As mentioned on one of the other comments below, this call is from a telemarketer representing the Calgary Herald to increase home delivery sales.  I have received calls from this number a number of times, so I recorded this number and checked it out on this website.  I called the number back, requesting a call back from them, and they did call me back last week.  It confirmed that the call was from a Calgary Herald telemarketer.  I told them I was not interested in a subscription and thought that would be the end of it.  Then another call came in this morning from this same number, and nobody was there, so it is time to take action, and I called the Calgary Herald Subscriber Services directly to get some direct contact information.

So here is what I am doing, and you might want to consider doing the same.

Just got a call from this number (11:20 am) and it was a guy from the Calgary Herald (which I subscribe to) asking for feedback. Didn't say my name or anything, just wanted to know if I was happy with the service. Stop calling from an unknown number and then I'll be happy.

This post should be deleted as it is very ofensive to people who work at home , house wives etc, you are more irrating then the actual scam calls. Especially when these calls are being placed iilegaly.Not to mention the auto dialer has to have a human hand in this somewhere. Think before you type.

Wow I so enjoy the phone calls James, how about dropping me a line so we can do lunch, we will meet at the harry hays building downtown in Calgary, right next to where your call center is. Just leave a reply here.

Stop calling people!

This number is  bothering us allot for a week

Picked up by accident for I thought it was a friend calling.  No one answered, no recorded voice message, just a hang up????

I receive calls from this number every day - morning, late afternoon and nighttime.  When the phone is answered the caller hangs up.  Also, when the phone is answered by a message recorder - the same thing happens.  The ID states it is the TD Bank.  Confirmed with the TD bank that it is not them and they will be reporting to their security department

please remove 403-277-1050 from all your calling lists.  Your voicemail box could be emptied so people trying to call to tell you this can leave a message.

Called every day at around suppertime for at least the past week, never anybody there when we pick up the phone and they always leave a blank message.  Is there any way to stop this?

I have been receiving calls for two days.  First I did not answer and now when I do nothing says anything.  This is really pissing me off.  I used to get calls like this years ago and he turned out to be a cycho.

Received a call from that number, never answered it since caller ID says "V1O1V01..." or something like that series of letters and numbers. I googled the number, found this:

I am not a telemarketer, but no , your scum. The scrounge of the earth that has nothing better to do but post stupid responses. It is an auto dialer and not a person hanging up on you. Maybe if you got a job, you wouldn't be home to be annoyed by people doing their jobs. Just needed to be said !

This number has called me twice and I'm on a do not call list...or so I thought.

My center has clients all over North America. As part of my due diligence I check these sites regularly to assist people in getting their numbers added to our Do Not Call lists.

If you call and ask the operator to speak to me I would be glad to or leave a message asking me to return your call and I certainly will.

My appologies to anyone that has called the Do Not Call line and found it to be full. Unlike many telemarketing companies I stand my my polocies and follow through with all Do Not Call requests, this sometimes causes the mailbox to fill up fast. I have added additional staff to ensure the line is either answered live or has room to leave your number.

Leaving your number will ensure the calls stop.

Hey Karen not a good idea posting your number online or anything about yourself the internet is haven for criminals and general wastes of skin who prey on people like you making innocent mistakes.
