Received phone call with ID as V02261308310005 and the phone number is 403 - 697 0566.
Without saying anything and hanged up.

This is the same message i got when i picked up calls from this number.  A middle east agent named Michael Jordan claimed to be from the "Windows Service Centre".  I just hung up on him after 2 minutes.

Fortunately I missed the call on my cell!

Keeps calling looking for donations without identifying who he is or what organization he represents.  Strong East Indian accent.

Called me and said she was from Windows (same sounding lady) and tried the ol' "I need access to your computer" scam. So I, in return, came out with a string of profanities, letting her know I thought she was a complete waste of skin, until she hang up on me (it was nice to have it the other way around for a change). BE AWARE THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS, so when they call you, please, let a little steam off and let them know what you think of them and their "business" practices.

Received a call yesterday - no message - called back - number is disconnected - I agree that phone companies should be easily able to stop disconnected numbers from placing calls.

403 697-6637 and 403 697-0566 I need to call Telus/Rogers/Shaw and have them somehow filter out these so called unserviced numers from calling my cell phone. They are a pain and the phone companies should fix it with filters. It the phone number is unserviced then why am I getting called. And if it was serviced I would call them back at 3:00 am and find out what they want.

Same east indian accent person called me yeaterday, claiming that he works for Windows and I should go to my computer and he will show me how to prevent a virus. I did not it is clearly a scam to get to your personal information.

Called at 8:30pm about a text message same number 403 697 0566  and to press 1 to recieve said text message which is unusual since this is a land line, anyone else get something like this?

I received a lewd phone call from a man with an accent (maybe Pakistani?) When I said Hello, I was immediately placed on hold. When someone came on the line, I swear he was the "guy from Microsoft" that I have gotten to know oh so well over the last couple of years. Telling me, once again, that there is something wrong with my computer etc.....I have done my research and told this man for the last time to lose my number. I said, what it is going to take for you to lose my number? His tone changed and he became incredibly lewd....to the point that I thought he had me confused with a sex phone operator. I hung up on him and he phone me a second time with ID of Private Caller.

"You have been carefully selected to participate in a short 30 second survey about the nation's debt crisis;  for participating, you will receive two free tickets for a cruise in the Bahamas" YEAH RIGHT

This caller (accent suggested middle east immigrant) claimed to be from the "Windows Service Center". They got my wife on the line and told her that they received several error messages from our computer. They then had my wife click on a computer popup. Fortuneately she called me. I discovered that they had installed Imi_rescue.exe on our computer, and that they were attempting to get my wife to open a portal to allow them to take remote control of our computer. I asked for the caller's manager, and another middle east imigrant got on the line and said his name was Alex Jones. He couldn't even pronounce Jones properly, so he spelled it! As if! Watch out for these degenerates, they are obviously phishers. How they managed to bounce their phone call through 403-697-0566 is a pretty sophisticated trick suggesting organized crime. Turn off your computer modem if these paracites call you, and check for misterious programs on your computer.

Got this one for the first time today. It's really annoying that the scammers are using local numbers now (a month ago it was easy to avoid these calls because they all came up all zeros or from Michigan or whatever. Having read here and elsewhere of this number's habit of phoning at odd hours and late-night I wasted no time putting it on the call screening.

Just got this one today. Didn't answer and after checking it out here I'm glad I didn't. The telemarketers/scammers are getting smarter. It's been weeks since I got one of those bogus 000-000-0000 numbers or 123-456-7890. Or even something from "Texas" or "Quebec". They all seem to be either Calgary or Edmonton numbers. Someone has to do something about this.

Calls and hangs up at rediculous hours!!

got a call from this number that said from ANONYMOUS. They said they were Jason from Microsoft and that our computer had a virus and was sending out all of our personnal files.  They wanted us to go to a computer and do some stuff.  We said we were running anti-virus programs and said no.

they just called me at noon today and when i called back it's not in service

Got a call from that number too and it said it's not in service when I called back!

Received numerous calls from this number in the middle of the night, I called telus and it still comes up at Scott Simpson. Annoying is all I can say.

Got a call from them today and they knew my name and my father's name, and wanted to speak to him. Woman with a thick accent - possibly Filipino.

First got a call from this number but missed it. When called back but no longer in service.

About twenty minutes later, got a call from 403-697-6637 and a lady with accent on the line. Seems like a kind of insurance firm to introduce some service.

Not sure any relation between them.
