This number is an exchange phone number.   You will see this number when the person is calling from a service provider that has to transfer your call to another carrier.

some dude called, identified himself as tom.  selling some cleaner.
total scam.

He also called our business and kept hanging up several times.
Sounds like he has a bad connection on his bluetooth device.

He was yelling, very vulgar, and tried to explain a complaint about our company without any information. Couldn't even explain where he was or where he visited. He would start a sentenace and then in the middle of that sentance say "do you know what I say?" but he would only have half of his sentance completed. For example "I went to the shop and they do you know what I say?", or "They would do you know what I say?".

As I kept asking him for more information he wanted to speak with management, then proceeded to swear at me for trying to help him.

It honestly seemed like a prank call. His number is not in our database at all.

This number is not a registered number with anyone. It is a general number from a blocked or a redirect from Manitoba, Canada. If you get this number on your display it could be a friend or a stranger or a telemarketer or whatever else. You are better off answering it then letting it go unanswered. So you can worry but I would worry more on what you just missed. They called me and I am out of Province so it is probable an out of province listing for the phone company that person is calling from.

Called and hung up. When we returned the call, we got the message, "You just dialed a number that isn't in use..." Quite different.

Called our office and then hung up, keep calling and hanging up, crazy world we live in now.
