Plus there is no number on the caller ID it just comes up as a private number, then the last time it came up as this number . and when i called it back it said i need an authorization code

This person has been calling me and saying "I'm gonna fart on your face" he also says things like he knows where i live and curses at me, its not the same calls like everyone else, i find it very strange that this would be happening, and all around the same time like within the hour i started getting phone calls from live links . It would call every hour about 13 times . Then when we sent a text to the live links number saying stop it said i was never permitted to this service, then when it started calling again i tried sending the text again and it wont go through, it just comes up as a red X . This is not normal, I am very creeped out ...

If you get a call from this number I would advise reporting it to the police, this "company" needs to be stopped, they have taken it to far

called me three times in a 30 minute span and hung up on my answering machine each time.  Each call was after 9 o clock pm.  caller id said ITC intercom and rang with a double tone.

it's fraud.  says he's a family member and needs money transfer because of an accident.  tried to my family.

contacted me saying he is in jail in toronto after he went to a wedding asking for 4500.00.  First he asked if he could be helped out, he said he was on a cellphone (in jail?) And then when i started asking  him questions he said the guard was looking at him and he hung up. Just listen for a very desperate story that doesnt quite make sense, dont tell them anything, or just tell them to f*ck themselves. I told the last caller to come and take it out of my hands if he gots the balls. This goes for all the d*ckweeds trying to sell s**t on the phone.

These cowards called an elderly relative of mine and tried to get them to send $4900 thru Money Mart and a few other options using the accident scam. They also provided an additional phone number for a lawyer in Montreal with the phone number 514.365.3558 (of course none of these phone numbers will pick up when called).

I can't stand this kind of faceless criminal activity preying on old people. I dare you clowns to confront me face to face. You'll wish you had never been born.

January 13th 2010 This Person called my Gramma claiming to be my cousin. Saying he was in Montreal, got in a DUI and needed $3000 to post bail. Well this is impossible because I work with my cousin and I am looking at him as I type this. Whoever is tracking this info really needs to do something before anymore parents or grandparents get scammed. this is toal BS!

Got the call Dec 20, 2010.  Called my father claiming to be his Grandson, did he recognize his voice because he wanted to wish him a merry christmas, and when my dad said he didn't recognize his voice because he does not have a grandson, he hung up.

I live in the Vancouver area and got two calls in a row from ILC Telecom, a 604-331-xxxx number.

Called my elderly father claiming to be his grandson, but spoke in a thick mumble and not much was legible. Luckily my dad had heard about this from someone else and hung up.

It's called telephone spoofing...they can make any phone number appear on your caller ID. it's called the 'grandparent scam'.

The other phone number this scam uses, also with the caller id name of ILC Telecom Inc is a BC phone number of 604-331-7107.

My mother got the 'call' this week. We notified the resident manager, RCMP, editor of local paper and Phone Busters. These thieves use an internet search for 'senior resident homes', get the addresses of these homes then do a reverse address look up to get the names and phone numbers of all the residents.

Nothing you can really do to stop it other than get the word out and to report to Phone busters 1-888-495-8501 which is Canada's antifraud organization and they work 'with' the RCMP, OPP and Visa.

Caller called my father claiming to be my son, used my last name. (he has never used my last name)
Some story about getting in a car accident, hit a pole, needed $5000 to get his car out of impound/repaired. My father questioned why he didn't just call me. (my phone # is unlisted) Also had my step-moms work phone # and called her there, same story.
When he was asked if he knew my name caller said "of course" and hung up..

Its a scam report it to the police

My grandmother got a call from this 'guy'. Said that her favorite grandson was in a DUI accident and that if she gave him 2000 dollars in the next 2 hours, then they would let him go and clear his record. After she told him that he should go and talk to his parents first (thought he was really her grandson), he hung up!

got a call from this number aug 3rd 2010, said he was my grandson, after a short conversation (did not sound like my grandson), he said he was on his way home from working out of the country and had had a very serious accident. needed some money to get home. I said he should know I would not do that. He Hung up.

Got a call from this number 21 Jan 1006 am MST, did not answer. Voicemail left. Turns out it was a call from a friend of mine. My buddy used a calling card to call me.

Got a call from this number. Answered. No-one there. Called back. Line busy. Called again, got a message asking for an Authorisation Code. Tried a couple but no luck. Def criminal nusiance. No useful purpose. Needs investigation. Will report to office of privacy commissioner.
Anyone got any info for ilc telecom inc? I can't find much.
