They call me and no answer

This number has been harassing us for weeks! We have said no, please stop calling and they still persist!

Dr. Green .. what a bunch of scam artists. They came to our door last year, and offered some supposedly great solutions to the acid patches from dog pee on our lawn. We agreed for them to do the front lawn ONLY, but the next week they were out randomly throwing seeds around the back lawn. I went out and told them to stop, and they said it was "included in the service". Front lawn was about 300 square feet, back lawn nearly 3/4 acre, so I highly doubt that!

Anyway, we proceeded with their "care" through last summer and fall, and ended up with patches of differing length and thickness of grass where the dog pee had been. I contacted them and told them we did NOT want their repeating service, which they seemed very reluctant to accept. We have now left the country and are living in Europe, but my tenants tell me they are still getting calls from these guys demanding money.

Do not ever hire the guys (Dr. Green). I made the mistake in doing so and now they won't stop bothering me. I am going through the Better Business Bureau and that doesn't help either. They just keep calling to collect money that I do not owe. It is a nightmare. The service was very bad too. Made a mess of my lawn.

Agree wholeheartedly with the comments. I received a call from this number as well. Didn't answer it. If this number is the Lawnwrecking people, here is my experience. I did in fact have them do my lawn last year.

For anyone checking them out and wondering if they are good, here is a brief description.

- they say they will aerate your lawn, but in fact, out of a whole back and front lawn only a 3 X 12 strip was actually aerated

- they overseed, and by this I mean they throw some new seed on your lawn and everywhere else with NO, absolutely NO regard for the rest of your landscaping, and instead of saving time by having someone do some of the lawn care for you, you will actually have LESS time because you will spend your whole summer picking grass out of all your shrub beds, flowers beds, etc.

- weed control? My lawn was never more full of weeds than it was last year - what a disaster.

I believe the people who work for them just stop by and leave their sign and try to get to as many places as they can in a day. Maybe they get off work once they are rid of all their Dr. Green signs for the day, so they move as quickly as possible from house to house so they can be off work early for the day and don't do the job people are paying for. Or maybe it is they get paid by the houses they go to, so the more they can cram into a day the more pay they receive.

Then, they continue early the next year, without asking you or you asking them, it is automatic. One day early in spring you come home and there is a Dr. Green sign on your lawn and bill saying they fertilized (which doesn't appear too likely by the looks of my lawn but I certainly received their bill). Once you sign up for a year, I guess they figure that means for life and they start billing you. And that is where a lot of the phone calls come from, because people do not want to pay for something they definitely do not want or realize they had. Dr. Green refers to this automatic 'renewal' as a great service to you so you are able to avoid having to contact them the next year to sign up! The fact is, nobody in their right mind would EVER sign up again after being burned for one year. You'd have to have rocks in your head to pay them a second year to ruin your lawn. It is one of their dirty little ways to make money (besides the substandard lawn care).

Their service is like going to a fast food joint on a Friday and ending up with a bun with no burger in it, and the bun is moldy. And then having to pay every Friday for another moldy meatless burger bun whether you ordered it or not.

Thank you Dr. Green. This was a good reminder there are very shabby pathetic people out there running businesses that are ONLY in the business of ripping people off and know zilch about the actual business of, in this case, lawn care. I will be doing heavy duty research before ever again paying anyone a penny to do some work for me. I am good at lawn care, I just have limited time and thought this would be convenient. Boy was I mistaken. I used to have one of the nicest yards on the block UNTIL I got the 'professionals' involved. Lesson learned.

Dr Green Lawncare has to be the crappiest company going. It's surprising the legitimate companies haven't had them run out of town.

Please stop calling me!

I have blocked this number, but they keep calling me.  SO frustrating.  My phone blocks after one ring.  I have no idea who keeps selling my number, but I get about 10 telemarketer calls a day

This number starts to call me after I posted my comments for other numbers below. Just add this one on the list I guess.

The numbers below are calling me every day. Not every one everyday, but any one every day:
I called back and selected sales option in order to get answered by a human.
The guy answered the phone told me that the company name is Dr. Green.
I asked him please stop calling me, he asked me my number and name and how long I have my number. Then he said the reason they are calling my number is that the previous holder owes them money. After I explained that I was not the person. Then this is what he said: "If you are not the person, then don't worry about it. But we'll keep calling the number." What an assh01E!!!
Not only that, they start to use more different numbers to call me everyday. The lucky thing is that my cell phone has a nice reject list function. The number on the reject list will not ring but just display as missing call instead. When I get a strange number, I just put it on my reject list.

Recieved calls from this number last year harassing for payment that were due.  Problem is this so called Lawn Company has never never been to or talked to the person they are harassing.  When there headquarters in Ontario was called they apoligised for the harassment and agreed that no where was there any papers stating A) a contract was signed and B) never had any services been rendered.  Guess what this 403 910 0435 number starts calling again.  Starting to think this is a Scam company.

This number called my home four times today. When I pick up it is just a sound of ringing to another line?

just got a call from these ppl.  didn't answer, their name came up unknown on call display.  they didn't leave a msg.  must not want my business.....if is a lawn care company,i wouldn't use them anyways.  as a home owner, i take pride in doing my own yard.

person clammed to be offering lawn care service, when i declined, they insisted on knowing why.  I hung up the phone.
when are these businesses going to realize these high pressure sales tactics don't work.
