I actually used to be employed for Ted Morton and worked in his phone calling area. He actually uses this number to phone elderly and people that have politics background to get the word about him about. His campaigners don't really leave messages since they are instructed not to and don't know anything about the DNCL list. We attempt to remove people that request to be removed but don't really know what happens.

In short, yes this is Ted Morton's campaign number

Call, no message left. Caller ID said Ted Morton. Could be from the PC Party of Alberta. Political call.

This number comes up as Ted Morton on our call display. Ted Morton, as far as we know, is a conservative MLA in Alberta who has started campaigning for the job of leader of the conservative party of Alberta after Premier Stelmach steps down in the fall. We began getting calls from this number a few weeks ago. Our number is called and there are NO MESSAGES left. We have no affiliation with Mr. Morton or the conservative party and no wish to have any involvement with them or their leadership race. We have called this number, and left a message requesting that our number be removed from their calling list, but we continue to get hang up no message calls. We are on the DNCL but know that political parties may ignore DNCL rules and continue calling numbers on that list, however  it would seem that any one with half a brain would know that to continue calling people who  have taken the time to request that you leave them alone and stop calling isn't a good idea. It follows that it is possible these annoying hang up calls are coming from someone who wants people to be annoyed with Ted Morton and NOT vote for him if they are infact interested in becoming involved in the conservative leadership election.

I've just had this number call my landline, did a search and it showed it as being on elbow drive/macleod trail yet also shows as lond distance! Tried to call back but nothing.
