The Telephone companies who allow these Telemarketers to make these calls are just as responsible as the
ones perpetrating the scams.

Automated calls - A man's voice says he is from the FBI.  Then he goes into a speech about Home Invasions.
Says his company wants to put a Sign in the yard and a Security Alarm system in the home.  Press 1 to speak to a
Rep or Press 9 to be put on the Do Not Call List.  
Calls are from Tel # 1-405-708-4124 .  Number traced to be coming from Oklahoma City, Cleveland County.
Local Tel company was notified.  These calls are directed to Senior's.

Displaying a false number is possible because they are using a computerized phone system that is spoofing the originating phone number.  Skype is also capable of doing this, as it has a way of entering your phone number so that call displays will display it.  The first conclusion that you can draw is that these people are liars.

A voice mail that did not come through from 403-939-0808.  We don't use voice mail or the phone they dialed.

I got a call from 14039390808 2x.  I never answer those numbers. I will get a few calls every so often but then they stop for a long time. I think if you don't answer they just move on to some other number. I NEVER answer!

called me said they were from westjet and i had won a prize. i pressed one and a live person came on. they started talking and i asked what the company name they were calling from was. then they disconnected me. apparently we can report to rcmp so i am doing that now. the number seems to be alberta so who knows maybe we can shut these c*** suckers down!

Called twice today. Didn't answer. Added to blocked caller list on my Android phone.

this number has called me a number of times, since I do not know anyone from that area code I leave it go to voice mail, but since they have never left message I called back (after about 7 or 8 times that the had called) come to find out the number on my caller ID is not in service???? after doing some investigating I found out that they are probably using a computer generated program to make calls out!!! This is definately spam, so please  beware

Called Telus, and they confirmed it was a scam.

This number has called me many times,  I have call display so I don't answer and wait for the message, this electronic voice says to press 1, however if you do that it finds all your information. Even if you do have an unlisted number - which I do - these people have a list of numbers starting with 275, 295, etc.  They don't know who they are calling, they just go down the list of numbers and wait for an answer.  Best advice - get call display, ignore the number and delete.  They will keep calling, keep ignoring.

Keep calling and I will keep ignoring you. This company whoever this is knows my old last name & got my wrong sin number..LOL

Call went to voicemail.  All that got recorded was  "... press 1 now ..." and that's it.
Saw the number being called from and new it was faked.

Too bad I wasn't around for the call.  I had some time and I really like connecting to these scammers and seeing how much of their time I can waste.

Seems to be going around today. I just got one as well.

Adding it to my phone book as a "Do not answer" number.

As of April 24, 2013 they are still doing this.  Calls without messages and when you phone back it's not in service.

Recorded voice stating "Westjet" and I hung up right away.  I have no dealings with Westjet at all.

Called my work 3 times today and I have answered each time saying this is a business and please stop calling, all they do is hang up on me. It is extremely irritating to get these calls when we are busy.

Called my cell in Calgary 11:48 AM local time. No voicemail.

They called the office phone where I work. Super irritating

April 24 2013 - 0935 pacific time - They're at it again.  I didn't pick it up, and they only let the phone ring three times.

Received a call and was said that i have been selected by West Jet and to call dial an extension. I did and was asked whether i was above 23. Then said thatto proceed further they need my credit card details. Now this appears to be a fraudulent entity trying to siphon money through credit card transactions.

BEware! Give them  dead ropes. Its better we all inoform to FBI and other entities.
