I got a call too! It says the number is from Alberta, weird.

Unknown number to me.

Said as a valued Bell Canada customer I was entitled to 3000 air miles by just pressing #1.

I just got a call on my cell from this number....no message left ....tried to call it back and says number not in service

I just got a call from them too... again, didnt answer because i dont know anyone with a 403 area code... No voicemail... so it must be a stupid telemarketer!

I got a call from this number about 40 minutes ago... i didnt recognize the number, so i didnt answer it, and decided to look up the number.

called, missed it, tried calling back but got nothing.

Just got the same call from the same number but no voicemail.

"Hello, because you are a valued Telus customer, you have won 3,000 travel dollars"

- I just hung up.


Got this kind of call several times already, sometimes from a different number but always saying the same "travel dollars" crap

Got the call. No idea why. I am not with Bell, I am not with Telus. I hate the two companies. How am I a valued customer?

SCAM alert.

I just got a call from this number, on a new work cell. I never answerd, since absolutly no one has the number for the cell. I'm guessing it must be telus, since noone else whould know that number even exists.

Got the call, Typical scam, says they are from which ever company your associated with/shop at, you press 1 and get a very over zealous, rude and overbarring person trying to get your credit card info to sell you a "trip".

Becareful when you register online or at stores, in the fine print they ask to sell your personal info. This is why when the telemarketer phones they know who you are associated with.

just got a missed call from this number. who is this???

July 15 2010 at 1:47pm - got a call from this number, I did not respond as I do not know the caller. Very frustrating! I am charged for all incomming calls.

Got this number too, I am at work, and did not recognise the number and did not answer. No message left. Stupid scams....

I was at Wal-Mart and as I checked out my phone rang. I didn't recognize the number (this one) but I answered just in case. It said, "because you are a valued Wal-Mart customer you are eligible to receive 3000 travel reward points." I hung up right away and was upset because it was as I was checking out at Wal-mart that I received this call. I called customer service when I got home and they claim they have nothing to do with it, it is a scam and it's just a coincidence they called while I was there. Really freaky coincidence to me!

Just got a call from this number too. Didn't answer however.

rogers reported this scammer on its site, its a automated telescammer claiming to be rogers, its NOT rogers.

i got a phone call from this number also, something about canadian tire, then i just hung up

same here...tried to redial, & it just hung up on me within seconds, no dialing out.

Recieved this call, picked up due to the 403 area code. As others before I am a "valued Crappy Tire customer".

Just an FYI to readers, they use an auto-dialing program that identifies you by either
A) a purchased (or aquired) list from a company you delt with in the past (Wal-Mart, Can Tire, etc)
B) a list of numbers known to belong to a phone provide (Rogers, Telus, etc)
and then insert the correct company name when they say you are a valued customer.

They will never stop.  They will get a new number when this one has too much attention.  Do Not Call Lists don't work due to certain rules about previous contact with businesses or personal/work related numbers or marketers that don't give a dam and possibly even use the list to make their own dial list.

Just find a way to piss them off when they call so they hang up and have a bad day and find other work.  If there's no one willing to work for these jerk marketers or scammers, then they won't call.
