received one phone call yesterday around 8:30am, left no message. received another phone call this afternoon, no voicemail was left.when i called back it doesn't even ring, makes a weird noise, then a man answered saying, WRS (which i'm guessing is World Recovery Service, from previous posts).

I worked here and this company is a total boiler shop.  The head, mike Newkirk is coked up and on the phone with his stripper girlfriend most of the time.  They tell us Not to leave messages with the company name to avoid complaints.  That is the only thing they are serious about.  If you leave the company name you will be fired.  It is mostly a drug trade on the collection floor.  Do you owe the money?  Probably.  Most people just did not pay their bills, but the company is a joke with a midget coke head for a boss.  Btw, they are always getting sued for not paying minimum wage.

Ignore "Sharon" the shill, folks.

Sorry people this is a legitimate collection agency and get calls from people everyday saying they never had this acct and are lying..Pay your debt!!!!!!!

I got a call from this number today. It is apparently an Atlanta, GA based credit recovery company.  When I called back, the recording did not identify the company.

Called on behalf of wells fargo account for my wife, bank error that accidentally went to Debt collections, fixed in Wells Fargo's system, Our Banker even tried to resolve the supposed $200 in overdraft fees by calling this agency direct, they never answer, Banker wrote off debt, Again this was from the banks mistake as I never had to pay a dime and my account is in excellent standing. I told the lady to "please not call in the morning, I have babies sleeping and you guys keep doing it ", after explaining that the wife wasnt home and saying goodbye, she called right back. I wanted to jump into the phone out of hers and drop kick her in her skull...Just saying.

debt recovery for 53rd bank on an overdraft of $71 that then incurred $500 plus in predatory lending fees.
My account along with THOUSANDS of others were "wrote off" when the CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT was filed against 53rd. The debt agencies are predatory "collecting."

This is the third agency that has purchased these debts to attempt to strong-arm money out of people.

My youngest son old keeps getting calls from this # - thankfully he does not answer any calls not in his directory contacts. His phone # has been registered with the Do Not Call Registry. So what good did that do? No message was left, and we did not call back - but as a mom, this still creeps me out!

These people keep calling and asking for my deceased son. I am not happy with them. i tell them everytime they call that he has passed away almost 3 years ago.

This number belongs to World Recovery (debt recovery company). The company was calling inreguards to an Wels Fargo which I never opened. These people demanded I pay off an account that did not belong to me.

Some how these idoits got my fiances cell phone number which is under MY NAME and keep calling. They say its for a bank account overdraft from 2006 from a bank that my fiance and I have never banked at.  I told them thats its a scam and they get pissed and hang up. Number comes up as a locksmith company in atlanta, georgia but say they are World Recovery Service located in flordia.  Ya total scam.

They called and said they were a Debt Collection Agency. Instead of asking me for the last four digits of my SS#, they wanted to confirm said numbers. I refused to confirm the numbers and hung up. Within an hour and a half after hanging up about $200 in fraudulent charges were made on my debit card, all for gas in the state of Georgia!

Calls and usually just hangs up. Today there was a voicemail but I don't think they realized they were being recorded. I got a converation of two people talking and laughing. Seemed they were joking in between calls??

I recognize this as a credit company. They called me too and did not speak. I called them back, and they claim to be a debt collecting agency. They are not very professional for being a business but when is debt collectors ever professional

I am in Spokane Washington. I got a weird call where the person just sat there on the phone. I don't like it at all. My caller ID said it was a call from Georgia. The creepy caller called from 404-260-9912 at 11:43 am on 6/25/2012.

NO Voice just long period of silence on the recording .... Wife took one of the calls and all they said was my  first name.

I also keep getting the same number. How do you trace the #?

It's a debt collection agency. I didn't understand the name of the company because the line was noisy. They were calling in reference to a bank account debt. Hopefully this information helps people identify who may be trying to contact them.

Call from this number woke my family at 8 a.m., on vacation morning. We don't know anyone in Georgia, and don't anwer calls from unrecognized or unidentified numbers.

Number calls, doesn't leave message.  Hung up immediately when I asnwered after just two rings...

Pierre from World Recovery Services.  Called for someone else.  He said he would remove my number...but the last 4 folks said that too.

I continue to get calls from this number. I called back one time and it was music playing. Just received a call and when I said hello, the caller hung up.

Google search says it's a locksmith in/near Atlanta. I live in FL so not sure why they'd call me.

Have gotten 2 calls from this number in the last few days, but no message was left. Just called number to find out who the number belongs to. Phone didn't even ring, immediately picked up with "Please leave a message after the tone." Putting it in my straight-to-voicemail list...
