Caller ID said wireless call.Didn't answer as I didn't recognize the number.I think I need to check out phones that block these clowns from calling!

I got a call today with use ID as Oas P but using telephone number 213-200-1974.  I never answer numbers or IDs
I don't recognize so it went to answering machine.   I added the number to my call blocker program. I believe it is
the "switching" game too.

Rec'd a call on my cell from this #.  Dialed the number back after pressing #67.  Recording answered saying that the voice mail box of Mr. Spanky Spanks was full.

I called the FBI about these calls and was told there is nothing that can be done to stop them. Legitimate businesses respect the DO NOT CALL list but these people most often are calling from outside the USA and anyone can get a phone number with a USA area code, and they are hoping to find a "sucker" that falls for their scam of a "free" cruise or whatever they are promising at that moment. The calls are DEFINITELY SCAMS trying to get a credit card number. I was also told sometimes they ring once and hang up hoping you will call back and then you are charged for a very expensive call that they profit from. BEST ADVICE IS DO NOT ANSWER ANY CALL IF YOU DONT KNOW THE TELEPHONE NUMBER!!! Even if you "think" it's someone in your area because you live in that same area code i.e. Atlanta GA.

I just received a call from them too. I am job searching so I answered. The recorded message says you have "won a free trip to the Bahamas"!! I stayed on the line, by passed the option to take a survey then chose the option to be taken OFF the list. I never give my cell phone number on any applications. They must respond via e-mail. Telemarketers are getting very creative in trying to get your information by posting 'jobs' that do not exist. Still doens't explain how they got my number. I am on DNC.

I just received a call from that number and didn't answer it, thank goodness the alarm hadn't gone off. I can't tell you how much I appreciate this thread. We've got to stick together and help inform each other and I appreciate that all of you took the time to write on this.

got a call at 6:00 am this morning.  I cannot tell you how much that pissed me off.

404 291 3849 listed as Oas P        Prerecorded message, saying Congratulations you've won a cruise to the Bahamas. They are looking to get you to give them your credit card information for your FREE cruise!! Scammers looking to steal your credit card info!!! How can these type calls be stopped! I am constantly being bothered in my home at all hours of the day and night by these and other attempted scam artists!!!!!!!!!!!

Called my cell. I didn't answer. Added to my UNKNOWN SPAMMER contact with a ringtone of SEND TO VM.

Receiving many calls on my cell phone from this number.

His voice message says Mr..Spanky Spence..please..I do not want this person calling me again

Called both my cell phone and business phone yesterday.  No message.

Actually he is right..  Its called phone spoofing. They can be calling from any place in the world actually and make it look like your best friend is calling you or a known neighbor.

And sadly, they can and do use real entity's names along with real business's as well. This result with a phone search can result in innocent victims getting nasty retaliation calls.

Called my cell and left no message. Thought it was from my insurance company in Atlanta. I guess not!
Called it and his mailbox was full. Some stranger's voice.

I got the same thing to.

Got a call on my cell from the number 404-291-3849. Didn't answer because I didn't recognize it but when I called it back got a recording saying that the voice mailbox for "Mr. Sparky Sparks" was full.

THIS IS ONE OF THREE NUMBERS THAT HAVE CALLED OVER THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS; DID NOT ANSWER, AND WE'RE TIRED OF IT!

The caller said we had been selected for a free Bahamas cruise vacation, and I just hung up immediately.

Same thing, let it go to voicemail, called it to see if it was a telemarketing company cause im on the dnc list and the message said it is spanky spanks. Obvious scammer, I forwarded their call to th

Showed as "P Oas" on my caller ID. I've reached my 30 number call blocking limit which means I have to delete one to add one.

I think the do not call list is really a list provided to telemarketers by the fed's.

just got a call from this number and ignored it. Glad I did after reading these comments. Thanks, everyone!

Received a call and they hung up when I answered.  I have put my number on the DO NOT CALL LIST.  Wanted to report this number so you can put a stop to their calls.

Got a phone call from this number. They did not leave a message and I did not call them back.

P/C f: 404 291-3849 @ 12:54 PM MDT on 30April2014.  CID:  Oas P.  Did not answer.  No clue who this is.  I bought a new Panasonic telephone recommended by another individual who visits and post on 800notes.  It works great.  It blocks up to 200 numbers.  Very user friendly.  Block those SOB immediately.
