i received a call from number 210-399-0197 said i owed a debt when i asked for written info and the address of the company he started yellig and swearing at me.he threatened me and called me horrible names.

Same here like all of you guys. These are the numbers they have called me from.... 281-552-8375, 281-241-6239, 404-334-7193, 404-382-5599. These are all the same people. Called the main number from the bank I supposedly got a loan from and they freaked out that someone is axially trying to collect money from an account that don't exist. Don't answer their number. I blocked them and I'm reporting then to the FBI and cops.

They told me they were Colmen & Farrel Law firm formerly known as (Morgan & Lewis Assiciates)  these people called me several times saying I would be arrested if I did not pay them $1,000 from a 2005 payday advance I owed. The District Attorney was getting ready to sign the warrant to arrest me that afternoon. They told me go to moneygram, make the payment and the case would be dropped. I was told the moneygram receiver code 7031 VPS (victim protection service) the moneygram receiver code showed some other company (Vantage Point Service) who has dozens of complaints to the BBB and other scam reports. When I told them what I had found he became hostel and hung up. Since then I received several other calls from 404-334-7193, 404-334-7208, 312-263-3627 , 210-399-0197 a nasty man yelling at me calling me a dumb w***e and other vulgarities. This SCAM is nothing like I ever heard before, with the internet today it was not very thought out and once you expose them they get angry.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

i would file a complete with the ftc and the consumer financial protection bureau.  we have the same problem a number has been calling from texas and it is Robert 214-299-5818 from plano tx.  call the police and the fbi on them.

People are calling saying that my mom owes a payday loan place.  That she has never been to or used they are calling from different numbers the first time they called the number was was from Texas and now they are calling with a number from Atlanta.  I wanted to let people know that this is happening and this people need to be stopped asap.

yes my family is receiving calles from this number telling them that i will be going to jail if i do not call them back.  That i took money out of my account and it was fraud please stoping calling you are fraud people call the poice and the fbi on them asap
