comes up as health services on my caller id . i asked them to stop calling. its very annoying with the calls coming several times a day for weeks now. 404 400 1179 so annoying

I got a call today from the 404-400-1179 number while at the plasma center and tried to call back after I left and got that same message!!..How is he getting our numbers?

Called 3 times today but I have it blocked. For those on cell phones...just search fpr Mr Number and download the free app. You can block any number you liked then and not have to worry about pathetic calls like this.

If it's coming through on your cell phone, there is a free app called Mr Number you can download. When one of these calls comes through, you jusr elect to block it and you won't be bothered by it anymore. Good free app. JUst search on your phone for Mr Number.

I don't want unwanted calls

When I answered it was a recording to get you to sign up for lawsuits. It states you will be entitled up to 10,000 per case if you prepay your legal fees up front...SCAM written all over it. It never gives a laywer name for firm name...just press a certain number for the suite you think you would be entitled too. What a joke.

I recieve numerous calls daily for about a month now. I suppose it's just a matter of continually not answering the # Or, to Block the incoming call.

I am receiving over 20 calls a day from this number: 404-400-1179.. I am sick of them calling me.  They will call as early as 8:00am to 9:00pm.  Where or who can I file a complaint with.  This is harassment.

I have received 15 calls in less than a week from this number. They want me to join a class action law suit for a surgery gone bad that I never had. They hang up when they realize that I'm not interested, and sometimes they call and don't say anything at all and then hang up. Last week this guy called and sang a song in another language, then said, "do you like my song?" and hung up. I am so frustrated. There is another number from NY- 347-803-1551 calling about my interest in attending their college ( I'm already a grad student at another college) and when I say I am not interested and to please stop calling, they hang up. I called the number back and there is an automated system from which you can add your name to the do not call list but apparently it takes 10 days for that to happen.

It is a NSA call, they are callecting as many information as can. They are using endless different numbers.

I am receiving phone calls sometimes 10 times per day from this number.  I want it to stop!

dumb bill collector that is illegally calling me  - has not done due diligence. The idiot they are looking for is NO relation to us - never heard of him, never met him until the stupid bill collectors started calling me. I've even hunted up his FB account for them and given it to them....and the dumb bells keep calling. I've contacted an attorney that specializes in sueing them. I don't even care if I get any money, I just want them to be inconvenienced like they have inconvenienced me. Hope it costs them an a** load more than they are hoping to collect from their loser client. JUST WANT THE LOSERS TO QUIT - VARIOUS ONES HAVE  BEEN HARASSING ME FOR OVER 8 YEARS NOW - I DON'T KNOW THE BUM. F OFF FOR PETE'S SAKE YOU IDIOTS. in the past 2 days i have gotten over 50 calls back to back and i answer and they imediately hang up..idk why and i dont know who it is!

I've been receiving at least 10 calls per day from this phone,I'm pissed off can somebody please help me? How do they got my number by the way 'cause I don't put my number in any website or stuff like that!!!!!

So this is my theory on how they got my number, at least. It all started when I applied for a job about eight weeks ago. I usually avoid jobs by recruiters or sketchy websites. But I found this job ad through simply hired. The website was one of those cheap rip off job sites, I believe it to be "snag a job". Anyways I submitted my resume and contact info for the job, the job was legit it went to the companies website. After that day, I started getting phone calls. At first I got calls from random area codes. The first call was for some people asking me if I wanted to go back to school. I told them I wasn't interested. However they would call everyday. So eventually they got on my nerves and I had to tell to them to stop calling. They did put me on their do not call list.
     After that I started getting the "us grant scam" calls. The area code was a 202. They would call and say (in a indian/pakistani accent) "You qualify for a 7000 $ grant blah blah blah". They would have fake "american" names like "Jimmy Henderson" or "Roger Smith" (Hahaha yeah, and I have secret super powers). I believe this is their attempt to fool people. Eventually I used my phones block feature to block calls from 202. It worked like a charm. These people are smart. They figured I blocked them so then on to the next scam.
     They started calling from a 305 area code. Same accent. This time something about diabetes or birth control drugs. I told them I was using birth control to not get pregnant (I was jk I'm a guy lol) then I blocked them. They figured that one out. Then they tried 801,512,and I think they finally gave up. Then the 404 started. I think 404 is the last resort. That number. they called me 6 times in the span of two hours. Specially around 5 p.m., pacific time. Blocked that. It seems they have given up finally. Then came the 0000000000, however I had already blocked that as well in preparation and research done here on 800 notes :p, also blockes, 2222,3333,4444,555 down the line and combos like 212121, 01010101, etc. They tried in vain lol.
    My resume is posted on a few job sites, and anybody can look at those. I believe that is how they got my number. Block them. Change your number if you can. As soon as I get a job I am getting a new number, to many companies have my resume to the point if I change my number I will lose opportunities.

I got 15 calls from 404-400-1179 today. The calls became more frequent after 5:00 pm. Not sure how my number got in the "it's ok to harass" list.

I have been getting calls from strange numbers over the past month.  When I do answer it is a person with a foreign accent.  I haven't answered my phone when this 404 number has called but I tried calling it back & it said noone is available & hung up!  I am also getting calls from 000000000 number?  How the heck did all of these people get my cell phone#?
