I got a call from this number at 11:30am today.  I did not answer and it went to voicemail.  Message said "This is______ from Matthew Thomas & Associates .  We must speak to you or your attorney immediately!"  I have tried to call them back but the number they called from is a "non-working number".  Looked them up online and they are a collection agency who has "less than ethical" practices.

Several calls from same number and ID - no response or recording when I pick up.

I have received numerous calls from this number.  I google to find out about it and notice other people are receiving calls, too.  I do not answer calls of this nature.

Got a call from the "UNBOUND 15751"  the number was 404-418-8947 left no message on answering machine on my phone. Called back and a man answered "hello" then hung up on me. I think this is a scam and needs to be stopped asap

I just received the same call have noticed it before on caller id as Unbound. Called back on my cell phone and person answered hello then hung up. This has got to be a scam of some sort.

Answered the phone, he said 'Thank you for calling me back'  I said I didn't call him that he called me and I just answered the phone...he was sooo rude!  Just another tactic to make person answering the phone feel off balance and more susceptible to scam.  Looked it up, found it was another of those "Law Enforcement Charities"....they called my elderly parents' phone....what lowlife scum to trade on the good hearts of old people.  Special place in hell for scam telemarketers!

They claim to be a charity that raises money for Georgia State law enforcement, but mentioned something about New Jersey. I listened to what the "charity rep" had to say, and it sounded a little "fishy." ..........I just called someone that would know if the "charity" is a valid organization and was told it is definitely a scam.

I got a call from 404-418-8947 but chose not to answer. A Google search of 404-418-8947 turned up the name Jillian and an escort profile and other escort services links. This is certainly not a phone number for a party that would be legitimately raising money for the Fraternal Order of Police.

i called back, a man answered 'hello'  but  when i said i had been receiving calls from this number he mispronounced my last name & said was raising $$ for fraternal order of police. i hung up.

Agree it's probably fraud, but for the life of me I don't see the point of your "african american" qualifier.  I hope that wasn't intended the way it read, 'cause crooks come in ever shade of the spectrum.

Had a call from this number with no message.  Did a search on Google and one of the items that came up for was an escort in the Atlanta area called Jillian.  Site wanted me to pay to find out more.  I said no thank you.  Did not call number.

i too received a call from this #,  its id was unbound also. i answered the call and hung up.  i then called the # back with my # blocked using *67  a spanish female answered with hello, not the fraternal order of police or unbound..  try reporting them to http://www.consumerfraudreporting.org/reporting.php

Received call today. No message left on answering machine. Called back to inform them I was on National Do Not Call Registry. I was informed this registry action did not apply to them. "Robert" tried to bully me into continuing the call. I cut him off, told him his organization did not have an ongoing relationship with me and there would never be one. Told him never to call back; he "God bless"ed me and we both hung up. If they do call back they will be reported!

Got a call from these people today.  Why would a GA resident get calls from a FOP organization based in FL?  I think these people are possible frauds, using a GA phone number.  I'm not interested in pledging any donations by phone, credit card, etc when I can't see a face or know it's a reputable charitable organization.  Quit calling me!

Caller ID said UNBOUND 15751 and the telephone number 404-418-8947.  No message left and I don't answer if I don't know who is calling.

A seven-page demand from the FCC's enforcement bureau sent to one such service, called TeleSpoof, says the commission is investigating whether the site is violating the federal Communications Act by failing to send accurate "originating calling party telephone number information" on interstate calls. A
The FCC is demanding business records from both companies, as well as the name of every customer that has used TeleSpoof, the date they used it and the number of phone calls they made.
It's unclear why the FCC wants to identify users of the service, or what prompted the commission to launch an investigation at this time, after permitting the sites to operate unchecked for so long. The FCC says it doesn't comment on pending investigations.
