Nothing is free. I should've known before I filled out the stupid online form for college grants. Not even 5 minutes later my phone rings -- while I am still on the internet!! Some female with who could barely speak English is trying to tell me about online schools. I hung up on her. Serves me right. Thank goodness for Google Voice.

Another unknown caller...and it is evident from reading these posts,they are up to no good.I think it should be a law for the callers name or business always be shown in connection with the number they are using.If that were the case a lot of these scammers would have to give up and find a new business.Thanks again for this site and Thanks to all those who have posted.

This number has called me at least 4 times today, getting real sick of this crap.... They never leave a message and I don't dare answer.

Got two calls from this number today but didnt know it so I didnt answer it. I live in hawaii but my number is from Arizona. They didnt leave a message but I have know idea how they got my number and I havent signed up for anything either.

I hve gottin  2 calls from thisnumber for 2days now so today they called and i answered and it was about so University and i never signed up for any thing like that so i just play along untill she was done talking. i have no idea how they got m cell number.

I keep getting calls from this number and never a voice or sound on the other end...and never a message left! It's been happening since Monday 6/24/13, multiple times a day. I am no longer answering the call and am trying to see if I can block it. Ironically, I signed up for move services through local telephone and cable/internet and USPS websites - loads of junk offerings and so suspect this might be result of that processing despite 99% of the offerings being declined by me.

I am so tired of all these random numbers calling me. How do I make it stop!

I have gotten a call from this number everyday for the last four days I called back it rang once then nothing. Tomorrow I will be waiting for this caller and telling them to stop calling me. I have no interest in furthering me education if that's why their calling.

Just got a call from this number - a woman identified herself as from either Plainly or Pointly University (could not tell with the accent), and said she was calling because I responded to something in regards to furthering my education. I had, but it was for the American Library Association's Library Support Staff Certification Program - I played along, thinking maybe this had something to do with that. She asked when I wanted to further my education and gave me ridiculously short time-frames (1-3 months or 3-6 months - gee, wouldn't you think I would have it set up by now?!). When I said that was the educational advancement I was looking for, she sounded confused, and transferred me to an "education specialist" who asked the same questions (what field and what time frame), gave me a website to check (edutrek.com - which looks legit, some sort of aggregator website) and ended the call.  I cannot find anything at all about a University of this name, and looking up the number said it was from the Atlanta area (I am in the Chicago area).
