Had a similar call she stated her name was olivia Martin with us court mediation but the number she called from was 877-231-3633 told me she was goin to have a warrant issued and that after she calls the county sheriff I will have 72 hours to turn myself in or I will be arrested she says for check fraud on 2 payday loans but would not give me any information or contact info for the payday loan companies!

YEA IS THIER SUCH A NUMBER 770-703-4866 TRI STATE FINANCIAL THY CALLED ME AND TRY TO TELL ME ONE OF THE PAYDAY ADVANCES NAMED GATEWAY SAID I NEVER PAID THEM BACK FOR A PAYDAY LOAN WHICH I NEVER GOT A LOAN THRU THEM BUT SHE SAID WELL THEY ARE GROUPED WITH OTHER PAYDAY LOANS. SHE WANTED ME TO SEND PROOF THAT I PAID MY ADVANCES IF NOT SHE WONT BE ABLE TO GET ME OUT OF THE SYSTEM I TOLD HER I WASNT GIVING MY INFORMATION OUT SHE GOES WELL I WILL TURN YOU IN AND LET THE PURSUE ON SUEING YOU.

Has anyone received a call from a 877-353-4447?  They are stating they are from the US Court Mediation in Georgia.   I looked it up on line and they are not listed.  I called the Consumer Protection Service and they said it was a scam.  I then had a call today that they were on their way to arrest me.  I called the Sheriff's Dept. and they said it was not true.  It was a scam and to let it go.  The scammers had somehow used the Sheriff's Departments phone number and when I called it back this person didn't exist in their department.  No one had called me.  Wow, what is this world coming to.  Be careful they are something else.

Yes I have been getting phone calls for my daughter who is mentally ill and in jail. She has terrible credit so I believed that they were trying to collect. I asked for some info so I could make sure this wasn't a scam. They sent me papers online with her as number and everything and an attachment to their website. I went to the website on the easy payment. It then directed me to a sellmyhousemlm.com site. I then called and asked why I couldn't pay online. He said no we don't have pay online. I said your website says it does but then redirects me somewhere else. He turns says oh yea that site has Benn down for a few weeks. I'm hoping I did the right thing by not paying. I think it's a scam but my poor daughter has so many problems that I just wanted to help. Seems really sketchy to me though.

I recieved a call from a Ms.Bush 404-474-0127 stating I took out a loan back in 2007 and I need to pay it or they would be filing charges. She stated she was with Attorney Steinberg's office. I know this is a scam and I asked her not to call my home again. These people have nothing better to do than call and try to scam people. Guess what? Keep calling because you wont be getting a dime.

I received a  call from 866 895 1530  they said  that I will be served and I said come on then they said they have tried several times... which was a lie!!!!! Then they said they wil have the police come my house and serve them!!!! I sais come on !!!! I am sick of being accused of fraud and I am sick of these calls. I wish they would stop!?!!!!!!!??!!!!!!

I received a call from phone number 404-474-7397, they claimed to be Tri-State Financial saying that I had an unpaid cash loan in the amount of $500.00. I put the caller on hold and googled their name and told him I knew it was a scam... I hung up on him and he continues to call back- they are relentless.

This company is unethical and not honest. They called me to pay a past debt, that I agreed I owed, gave them my CC info to pay the debt, yep...wiped my account!!! DO NOT PAY ANYTHING TO THIS COMPANY!!!! CONTACT THE ORGINAL COMPANY YOU OWED THE DEBIT TO!!!!!

I have been getting calls from this number.

Do NOT pay anything to TRI-STATE they are a third party scam company that buys you old debt information . DO NOT APY THEM OR ACKNOWLEDGE ANY FORM OF DEBT WITH THIS COMPANY. ALSO THEY CANNOT ISSUE ANY FORMS OF ARREST WARRANTS FOR BAD DEBT , IF THIS WERE TRUE HALF OF AMERICA WOULD BE IN JAIL.

I received a call from an Olivia Martin regarding an unpaid payday loan. I explained to her that this was over three years ago and was taken out by my ex-husband and his then girlfriend.  I also explained that I had no knowledge of the loan until I was contacted many months later by a collection agency, at which time I filed a police report and provided it to the agency.  Ms. Martin told me I hadn't done enough and that I should have prosecuted and not just filed a police report (like I can just hold a trial in my backyard!) and because I did not prosecute within 30 days I was liable for the debt. She then told me I owed $1036 for the loan, $4387 in legal fees and that the company was requesting a cash bond of $10,000 because I was going to be arrested for writing a bad check.  I told her that even if I was responsible for the debt, that I had no way of paying it because I have four kids, three of whom are special needs, and therefore cannot work outside the home and have no income. She then stated that she could garnish any federal or state assistance we were receiving and that I needed to "think about my special needs kids" because when I was arrested and sent to jail they would be taken from me and placed in foster care.  She then said that it was obvious that I was not willing to cooperate and that I should expect to be hearing from my local authorities shortly.  She then hung up on me. I did some research, and then filed complaints with the FTC, KS AG and GA AG.  I then contacted "Olivia Martin" by phone told her what I had done and demanded that she not contact me again.  She hung up on me again.

I have been receiving the same calls from Tri state assoc. # 1- 404-474-4068 & 1-404 474- 7397 They claim I still owe an old HSBC Debt and demand a minium of 400$ , they also threatened a warrant for my arrest in my county . they could not provide and refuse to provide validation of the debt or an itemized statement. They continuously call my parents and my wifes work asking them about payment. They identified them as mrs Hall and olivia martin.  THEY ARE A SCAM !!! Call Your state attorney general and most important call the FTC!!! It is 10/18/2011 and they have been calling for about 8 days now. They have broken almost every Fair Debt Collection law!!.

I just got the same call. she left a msg giving me a "case number" saying me or my attorney needs to call her back?

Just got a call from this number. She stated her name was Olivia Martin. She would not give me any information about where she was calling from or who she was working with, but she had all kinds of information about a debt she claimed I owed. As the phone call escalated she told me to get out my debit card. Finally she told me I would be hearing from the county. Stay tuned as I have no idea where this will go from here.

thanks for the reassurance.. i figured it wasn't legit....i don't even answer, but its like clockwork with these nit wits...everyday, once a day...anyways, i do have a voicemail that i saved from a similar number (4044748928) where it sounds like the guy didn't realize that he was still on the phone and proceeded to tell another person there how he scammed some lady into paying $1500...i'm assuming its from the same place as the area code and first 3 numbers are the same, not to mention the couple vmails from that number the guy said he was from tristates financial vs tristate and associates....now i received calls from that number for like 2 days and then they suddenly stopped...so my theory was maybe the 8928 guy didn't realize that 4068 was calling....again thanks for the reassurance, won't be paying attention to these low lifes....and i think maybe i should turn that voice mail over to my attorney generals office!

I have been getting the same calls, I spoke with the attorney generals office, they advised me to not answer or just hang up on these people. Its a scam.
I have asked these people numerous times to validate the debt, which they are sup to do within 10 days, and they will not validate it. They are not a legitamate company, ITS A SCAM!!! Do not fall for their lies!!

received a call from a Mr. James from Tri-State and Associates...has been calling now for the past 3 days like totally out of the blue.  after lots of searching i could find nothing on this company, i'm thinking its a scam... the guy on one call will say in one message that its a check fraud issue and then in another message say that its an identity theft issue..is anyone else experiencing these annoying calls?
