On behalf of my mother who has received two calls from this number who asked when they could install equipment and claimed to be representatives of the true Medical Alert.  They are indeed not, because I called the real company, and they said this was a potential scam.  No one in our family, including my mother authorized or requested such a service.  When asked who did request it, they immediately hung up.  Beware of this type of call.

Received a call on answering machine saying that medical equipment that I ordered was being shipped.  I called number back and spoke to a man with a foreign accent and told him I didn't order anything.  He then proceeded  with his  so called "sales pitch".  I asked to what address he was going to send this equipment too. He couldn't answer the question.  I then told him that I'm not into scams and hung up.

Just received this message for the third time.  Caller said it appeared they were awaiting confirmation in order to deliver a free medical alert system.  Instructions were to press 1 for acceptance and 5 for refusal.  This is obviously a scam.

I got part of the message. He said he was John from the shipping department of emergency medical alert . . .
