Just got a call from them today, Oct. 3 11:16am. Daughter answer the phone, they ask for me. She got me up from my sleep after I work a 12 hours night shift. I answer the phone, no one said anything and hung up.

I have been getting calls everyday from this number at my business phone number. Same thing as what previous posters are saying-the caller hangs up when you answer. Going to call AT&T as well. This is a local number for me, so hopefully they can block it.

This number keeps calling me between 10-11am, every day for a week. This is right in the middle of my babies am nap and I am registered in the no call list already. Id anyone finds out how to stop this PLEASE post here, so we can be done with these calls!

I've been getting 3-4 calls a day since October 1st from this number.  I answered once and got no response, so I hung up.  I continue to get calls.  I called AT&T about it and they said there is nothing they can do.  I can't block the call because it's an out-of-area number.  What good does call block do if I can't use it?

They call everyday but leave no message.  Listed as Unknown Name.

I have been receiving a series of calls from this number 404-492-8591. When I picked up the receiver they said he was from the Royal Order of Police. I told him to remove my number from their list and that I was on the 1-800-do not disturb list. I hung up he was still talking. Very annoying. I looked at my caller ID and found they were calling me every day. In researching the number I found it was registered to Metro PCS and it was a cell phone. I wish someone stops these people from causing such a nuissance.

They call me twice a day - usually shortly after 8AM and again between 7PM and 9PM.  Never leaves message.

They have called my home repeatedly since October 1st. This morning they called at 8:17 a.m.

I just got the call as well, only I waited until I got the automated message (something I don't normally do out-of-area phone calls). It said something about Atlanta Police. The message was very quick, unexpected and I was cut off very quickly. Doing research now, if I find more info I will post here.

They are calling my house too, again, early morning and late evening, leave no message...so today I answered it, a man asked for my husband, but mispronounced the name so badly I didn't realize at first who he was asking for, when I asked who was calling he hung up! I called back and again, it is a "fund raising" organization.  No matter WHAT they are raising funds for, they won't get a dime from me with tactics like this!

We keep getting the same calls - early morning and late evening - twice a day for the last week.  I cannot figure out who this is or what they want.  Very strange to see the same things going on with other people.

Received a call without ever leaving a message on 10/9/07 in the Alpharetta, Georgia area.

I keep getting calls from this number too - sometimes 3 - 4 times a day. I also do not answer calls from numbers I'm not familiar with and whoever this is never leaves a message.  Is there a way to block phone calls coming into our cell phones??????

Same as above. They call at least once a day every day, weekends too. Never leave a message. Always says "UNKNOWN NAME" on my caller ID. I'm never home when they call.

October 6 - I've been receiving calls from this number several times every day for the past week.  They never leave a message and phone early morning and evenings.  Reverse phone look-up results show this as a cell number.

I get a call from this number every day. I never pick up a call I don't recognize and they never leave a message. How can we report this person/company to the authorities? This can't be legal.

Been getting numerous calls from this number.  They never leave a message and I never answer unknown name unless I recognize the number.  Latest call was 8:30 AM on a Saturday morning, waking me after a long night getting my daughter to sleep. Thanks a lot jerks!

I live in area 404 so it must be telemarketer or or nuisance caller...

got a call today 11:10 am, could not get to line on time.  Did not leave a message and got through my id system by putting the words "Out of area" as their caller ID. They are not out of area becuase I live Atlanta also with almost the same exchange.

Just got a call from them today, Oct. 1 7:54pm. I called back and it is apparently a "fund raising organization." I got a recorded message, no real human contact. It says to leave your info if you wish to be placed on the do not call list; although I've already signed up for it via the website (www.donotcall.gov).

Oct 1- I answered phone there was no reply and they hung up.

Call came in at 6:25 p.m. Left no message.

This is an Atlanta, Georgia area code. Don't know who called.
