Person called demanding I give my social security number, but wouldn't say what it was for, why they were calling or who they were. They were very rude and then hung up on me.

Yes, This is a BAD Debt collection agency, ARS, calling.  They have called me and left messages saying "They have good news for me and to call them back."  They are trying to reach someone, not me, and won't take "You have the wrong number please don't call back".  Sometimes they don't leave a message. They still call and I don't answer and then just delete the message if one is left.

This number 404-492-9339 I don't know who they are what they do and wish that they would stop calling

They are in breach of federally mandatated rules and regulations as it pertains to collection practices.
One of the numbers you can reach them is the notorious Atlanta, Georgia cell phone # of 404-492-9339.  

This company has called my entire family looking for a person that has been divorced from my family for about a decade.  They claimed they got our numbers from the divorced person.  I absolutely know that this is false information as all of our my family have recently changed our phone numbers.  I called to inquire about this company and ask for their mailing address and I was hung up on 10 times, just for asking what their mailing address was.  I was finally given an address of 960 South Andreasen Dr., Escondido, CA  92025 in which I cannot verify its validity.  

I strongly urge anyone who has had similar issues to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission as I and my family members will be participating.

The girl called and said she was from arp and that she was calling on the behalf of Bank of America she asked me did i receive a letter from her than she asked for my address i started asking her question so she hung up. BEWARE
