Received a call from (404) 566-8262 this morning 9/5/13 @10.02am and when he started to talk I blew a whistle as loudly as I could in his ear. That will teach them not to call me again.

Says he is from the GA State Police Lodge??? Neither heard of it, nor have I ever known law enforcement associations to randomly call people to solicit for money. He wants people to purchase some sort of kit, and the proceeds supposedly help police officers who are wounded, or need bullet proof vests. (As ex-law enforcement, I've never referred to it as a bullet proof vest, but ok....) It screams SCAM!

More than occasional, This nuisance Caller 404-566-8262 has interrupted our home. The caller calls more in the early hours. We care for infirmed people in our home, Please shut them down for they lie , posing as the police association, I believe it is part of Identity theft ,In my book it is a felony. apparently they have no disregard for people.They use very unscrupulous methods for high pressured sales. I hope this this will go somewhere in stead of wasting my time, it's time for action, Shut the deceivers down . Thanks

If you get a call from this telemarketer, PLEASE file a complaint with the
FCC and FTC: <http://www.fcc.gov/complaints> http://www.fcc.gov/complaints
and <https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx>
https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx. If they
receive enough complaints, they'll investigate. In addition, they send
information on how to file a lawsuit. If enough of us file and win, that
should have an impact. What a great revenge, earning money FROM them!
Information on their website says the FCC have shut down several of these
scams.

Called and said they were from the Georgia Police ... before he got any further I told him I was on the do not call list. He stated that it did not apply to them as they were not selling anything. I hung up as he continued talking. I think this is a scam, I was told nobody ever calls for the Police, asking for money.
