The Island Collector is obviously a complete a**hole so pay him no attention. I myself, have called and TALKED to a handful of associates at this company, all of which were rude and unprofessional BEFORE I could even utter a sentence. Like someone else mentioned, this company has and continues to report FALSE debt. And the people who have a valid debt with them have attempted to settle their debt and still get the SAME unprofessional treatment. And DO NOT say anything to the fact that "you should look at yourself" or "if you would have taken care of it before". If someone has a valid debt, there are MANY reasons as to why they may not have been able to pay at the time of service, not just because someone wanted to screw around. Keep your negative and nasty a** comments to yourself.

there you go again showing your own ignorance . 7 years is the federal statue of limitations for credit collections. any thing over 7 years you can contact the Credit Bureaus and will be removed.

first of all . you assume that the debt is legit. Of course we all know what the first three leters in assume is. Second you have to be a sad person that hates the world to conduct business like this. To work for a company that as an F rateing with the BBB tells it all.

If you fail to listen to former complaints and concerns regarding this property it can get worse for you!!
CAN YOU IMAGINE TRYING TO PAY A DEBT THAT IS INCORRECT FOR STARTERS AND CANT!!!!!!
My daughter moved out during her last months due to severe complications.  She met with Apartment Mgr. did walk thru and paid re-letting fee; unfortunately due to being stressed she did get up with all documentation. Shortly afterwards Timberlodge Apartments in Dallas, TX/Pacific West Management in Carrolton, TX sold the account to National Credit Systems, Inc.  in Atlanta, GA to collect debt.  We have been trying to handle this account since 2010 with no hope in resolving this issue soon with NCS, Inc.!!
We went back to Timberlodge Apartments in Dallas, TX to speak with management who bluntly stated with no concern there was nothing she could do about it and printed out a Final account statement 1,050.32.  
We contacted Pacific West Management Carrolton, TX and spoke with Timberlodge Apartments in Dallas, TX / Pacific West Management in Carrolton, TX REP. who informed my daughter there was nothing they can do to help her clear this matter up! Yet a few days later during a conference call with Pacific West Management in Carrolton, TX And National Credit Systems, Inc. in Atlanta, GA It was clear once we listened to all recordings both parties were found being untruthful ?Yes I did record all communication and suggest you do the same if you have to deal with these two companies!?
While contacting BBB and Legal advice I preceded to exercise the chain of command in hopes of resolving this matter before getting out of control.  National Credit Systems, Inc. Atlanta, GA stated there was no one else to talk to and Pacific West Management in Irvine, California who is over the Pacific West Management in Carrolton, TX office is refusing to take my calls PERIOD, or return my calls WITHOUT TELLING ME WHY?  REFERRING ME BACK TO THE Carrolton office!
?And we are trying to pay? Strange!!!!!!

Not a bill collector trying to get bill payed...It is a company wanting you to buy product...I did talk to the guy from this number and he hung up on me because I asked how I can help him twice...you must be in the same profession to write a post like that....your an a***ole too.

Sorry but you cant file suit against someone for being rude. However i can probably understand why the named people were rude...... how would you like to be called a b@#$% or and A$$hole?????
what you also need to understand is its very difficult when dealing with money issues. people dont like the TRUTH, then try and figure out the best way to get out from having to pay, or be responsibile.
I say call them TALK TO THEM         NOT AT THEM, and you will see a resolution.

How do you know it wassnt the Attorney General's Office? maybe you have more then one place calling you on any given day? People are very quick too point fingers, but the one they really need to be looking at is themselves.
Get a list of the people and  phone numbers, then call them I truly bet you its more then one place callling.

Have you ever stopped to relize, you wouldnt receive such calls if you made sure you own house was in order?
I do not approve of them being rude, but maybe just maybe you were rude first. You also have to understand the only person you are hurting here is youself by not addressing the actual issue. This problem can last for 7 - 10 years.

National Credit Systems Inc, is one of the most rudest companys that I've  delt with. Everyone I talk to act if this is there money or company. They lie and not very business professional. Katiina Johnson and Mr Barnes are the two people I talked to and They treated me very Poorly. I will never deal with this company again.  I feel If the manger Mr Barnes can talk to people that way, why wouldn't his works do the same. Bad Business

the call I got was from 404-592-0218.  She asked for my brother, and when I asked her why she said it was none of my business, and I said well what is it you want from me, and she said in an extremely snotty manner I want you to have a nice day and hung up on me.  I called the number back, and she answered and said you are calling me why?  I said she was rude before and she said no I wasn't I don't have to tell you anything and hung up on me again. I called back and she said I am not talking to you and hung up.  A total beatch.

They call everyday and call my work and my family members. They dont give out any infomation nor will they leave a message. Will not give any details about why they are calling. Very rude and inpolite. I thought it was against the law for credit collectors to call people at work.
