These calls are legal because calls from political organizations, charities, and telephone surveyors would still be permitted, as would calls from companies with which you have an existing business relationship, or those to whom you've  provided express agreement in writing to receive their calls. To stop getting calls from TPP, listen to the message, then do what you need to do to talk to a real person and ask to be removed from their calling list. They will do it.

This group is ignoring my "do not call" status. I actually lost my phone connection for a couple minutes trying to get rid of them. They sound anti-Obama.

This is a robo-call from Tea Party.  Didn't ask them to call, don't agree with them and don't want them to bother me. HOW can I get them to stop when it is a recording?????

just got a call from this #....and i have, AGAIN, called the 'do not call' registry and put in my #.  they said it would take 31 days to be activated, then i may contact them again to complain, if needed....what i started doing about a month ago, if i don't recognize the #, is ANSWER the call, and IMMEDIATELY hang up!!!!  maybe it will piss them off enough to stop calling!! especially on a SUNDAY night at almost 8:30 p.m.!!!

Can you get a physical address for them? If so, send them a demand in writing.. certified us mail!   I haven't ever had a hard time to get my number removed from politicians or party's. But if a verbal request isn't working, send it in writing. Then if they refuse to stop, go get em! Even they are not immune from a fine!

I can't get them to stop calling me.  All hours of the day and even on Sunday evening at 8 pm! I've got on the tea party Patriots website and Facebook page and politely requested they stop their calls.  I've even called their phone number twice but never get a warm body and have to leave a message.  Still the calls come.  I would NEVER join such a movement when they have absolutely no respect for me and my unlisted phone number.

Tea Party Patriots, and they are relentless.  They call at least once a day.  I usually shout obscenities at them when I get a live person, but that's not doing the trick for these mofos.

And they left a message as well identifying themselves as Tea Party Patriots!!!

The "real tea party patriots" don't solicit by phone and don't fail to identify themselves and can be quickly checked online. I don't care who it is, our president or janitor, I don't give anything on the phone, period. Verify, verify.

A "yahoo" search says the number belongs to Mary C Bahati of Stone Mountain, Georgia.  It also says this is a mobile phone number.  I didn't answer and no message was left.  I've since blocked the number.

The call is from the Tea Party Patriots.Probably to solicit funds after the conference call (town hall meeting) the night before.
If you did not sine up to receive the calls some one probably gave them your number as a joke.Answer the call & ask them to take you off the list,They will take you off.

Wished I would have answered the phone.  That will teach them not to use caller ID -- As for the colorful comments---grow up people.
