I received the same text message stating that there was an issue with my debit card and I don't have a Berkshere account...don't even know what it is. I called the number provided within the text from my work phone and the recorded voice wanted an account number.....and i knew right there it was a scam. I notified verizon and the attorney generals office for NY state. They are now working together to find out the source.

Got a text message from 1118952@vtext.com asking me to contact (4046457905).Regarding SVFCU Account: 402011XXX . I binged SVFCU and they had a notice on their website saying this "Security Reminder
Susquehanna Valley FCU takes your financial security very seriously. We will never text you asking for personal information, such as your account number, debit card or credit card number, Personal Identification Number (PIN) or similar information. If you have received a text, please DO NOT call the number and give the automated system any information. The text messages did NOT originate from us! This is a SCAM." I suspected a scam and was right.

sent me a text message that said "contact 404-645-7905 A-c-h-i-e-v-e" ....that was all it said. I have no clue what it means or what they want. I'm assuming it's spam and ignoring it.

Sent text message asking me to call regarding my account with Berkshire Bank. When I called the number back, the automated message asked me to enter my card #. I do not have an account with that bank and hung up.

SMisher collection number. Vtext solicits a call over an allegedly frozen card, this number attempts to glean your SSN and card data for fraud. Scam, obviously.
