I just got a message from a girl on facebook with that number and she's going by Lisa Hackbarth.

Well this low life w***e msged me on fb with a hot picture as them profile picture. News Flash kids she be a scam and unless you report her and block her she jst gunna keep goin round stealin ya'll fools mula that you worked for so that she can get enough money so she can keep sittin on her a** scaming people. What a low life prick she probily jst wants your money so that she don't have to work and she can get free money so she can by crack and try and pay rent. Is this the world we live? F her i hope she gets hit by a bus.

Recieved a friend request from a Ashley Clampitt accepted it due to some a shared mutual friend. Imediatley I recieved an facebook message to call her today. SCAM!

It's a scam.  Probably a text scam.  Once you send a msg it will charge your phone bill regardless of your plan. I seen these scams on this "how not to get scammed"  show called the hustle.

Don't Facebook us ... Especially at 5am on a Sunday people have f****ng kids and work you know !!!

Earlier today just got a fb from a jessica shore. I thought it was fishy and for good reason looked up the number traced it to some place in atlanta and found this thread. Big thanks to the person who started this thread you saved me some time digging around.

The account that is sending these messages is a fake account set up to send these messages in hopes that you will respond to them via text message. If you do, you will be sent a link to a pornographic site, according to a poster here who did text the number.

If you get a message with this number:

1) Unfriend the person sending the message.
2) Report the account to Facebook as either fake, spam, or scam.

In order to protect your information, as there is potential for identity theft as well:

1) Go to your privacy settings at the top of the page in the left hand corner.
2) Hide the following:
Your phone number
Your email address
Your date of birth (you can hide only year if you'd prefer)
3) Hide your friend list.

In the case of phone number, email, and DOB, there is no real reason this needs to be on Facebook. Anybody close enough to call or email you probably already has this information stored in their phone or email contact list. They probably know your birthday as well.

As for your friend list, I believe this is how this number is finding new contacts. Hiding your friends list will prevent the people you know from falling victim.

Got added on FB by a girl named Jennifer Mirza. I checked her profile, born 1980, two mutual friends which is odd since I am 13 and she is 33, sent me a Msg saying text her, so I looked up the number and here I am

my fiance received a facebook message from this number, saying their name is jennifer towels and asked if he wanted a massage?!! wtf
