I received a call from this number stating that I need to pay 800.00 to them within the next 30 mins. If not 800.00 at least 400.00 by credit card or money gram at walmart. They stated that I have a Grand Theft and Grand Theft Larceny charge against me. They were very nasty to me and I also was willing to pay the money but they were not giving me any time to get them a payment. They just insisted that they were going to file papers on me for grand theft. I never took anything or stole anything. They stated that this was from Aarons Furniture.

I told her not to, that is why. Seemed bogus....not sure what you mean about saving paper, but I was wrong and admitted that and it was a rather big ordeal, should have paid it for her, didn't.

LOL, Michael, did your wife go to jail because she owed money and didnt pay it?  If that was the case why did you post that very detailed post about her being carted off to jail and you needing help.  Seems to me you knew what to do to help her.  Just tell her to stop wasting paper and pay her bills.  People that try to threaten results are usually very disappointed, just sayin

Lol. Well it is obvious that they are calling because you haven't paid a bill, so why would anyone send you one? You don't pay them, why waste the paper? These complaints are so comical to me...you are all complaining because you haven't paid your bills and because you have committed fraud. It's ridiculous really...my wife went to jail because of this, and it wasn't funny...

My sister in law got a call from a Bernadette Flores. She said if i didnt call her back that a warrent will be issued for my arrest. I called the local police department as well as the hot check department and they both said that this person is from a collection agency and that they have gotten alot of complaints about this person and her organizationa. Posing as any government official is against the law. They said that the DA is investigating. They also advised me to give Bernadette their phone number and have her call them. If I owe anyone, they should just send a bill.. Really is all this drama necessarry??

Well, as you can see from my post below...my wife went to jail...she is home now thank God, but it was a quite expensive and embarassing ordeal...

I received a call from a woman claiming to be an investigator last Thursday. She was looking for my wife in regards to a check fraud case. With so many scams going on, I assumed this was one and told my wife not to worry about it. The amount of this supposed check was $716.40...the investigator advised me that she would be forwarding the case to the state's attorney and I laughed at her. At about 8:30 the next morning my wife was picked up by deputies from our home on felony bad check charges. There is a purge amount to get her out of jail...I don't know what to do...someone respond, please!

I got a call from an Investigator Matthews (woman) who had called my grandmother saying if I don't call her back, they will send a warrant out for my arrest and I had to come up with 600 by the end of the day yesterday or I could look at jail time. Are they really a debt collector? I paid the money and gave them my card info.

These people are sad liars they call my daughter trying to scare her I called them and scared the hell out of them now they won't answer our call now. After I told them I had talk to my lawyer know they won't answer.

I got a call from these people today from a girl named Pippa we even made payment arrangements because I was so outdone.  What caused me alarm was whn the supervisor called me back saying that they had to have a $100 payment today in order for the arrangement to be kept.  I thought about it and then I called the number back. I decided to google the number and got this.  I am calling them back in themorning after I find the charge for falsly representing governmentagencies and see wat they have to say.  I regret I gave her my check card number.  But I will tell her if any carges apear on my account I will sue because they are not a govenrmet or state agency.

BARBARA FLORES CALLED MT FATHER, CLAIMING I COMMITTED FRAUD, AND SHE WAS TRYING TO HELP ME TO AVOID IMPRISONMENT FOR FRAUD. STATING I DID NOT PAY A LOAN TO GLOBAL PAYDAY, MY CASE NUMBER WAS  pdl 2081, AND UNLESS I RESPONDED, SHE WOULD FILE CHARGES WITH THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT FOR FRAUD FOR SOME SORT OF INTERSTATE FRAUD BY MAILING A CHECK OUT OF STATE.SHE WASN'T CLEAR IF SHE REPRESENTED WASSERMAN & SULLIVAN, ATTORNEYS, OR GLOBAL PAYDAY, OR THE GOVERNMENT. WHEN SHE ASKED FOR MY HOME PHONE NUMBER,SHE WAS TOLD TO LOOK IT UP ON THE INTERNET, AND HUNG UP.

Hey, got the same call from the same person claiming exactly what she told you. I called the Washington state department of fraud cases & she said its a debt. mine is a payday loan I didn't pay back & she said there are a lot of scams going around. She said she is filing 3 counts of fraud and that she is sending it to the DA's Office with the state of Wa. The State lady told me not to give any info to her and legally have to be served with papers. The date she said I took the loan out was Dec. of '09. I have never got a bill nor got papers sent to me or served. Her number comes up as a wireless phone in Atlanta, Georgia. She scared the crap out of me! But the Lady here in the state dept. of finance & fraud said don't work about it, its just a unpaid debt & you don't go to jail for a unpaid dept. She said it's like everyone that files bankruptcy has a debt to their lender & they don't go to jail, so she said don't worry about it. She said probably a collection agency trying to get me to pay my dept.

got a Call from Barbara Flores claiming to be a fraud investigator; authorized by the federal government, threatening to file fraud charges against me for a unpaid payday loan in Wa. state. Called the state of Wa. & they said it sounds like a scam and not to give my information out. I did some more searching on this and this phone # comes up as a wireless phone.
