Guy said he was Chad Cummings and he was an invesigator.  Said I would have a warrant issued if I did not call him.  Possibly a pay day load that I paid but the company lost the paperwork.  Have recept, but no dice.  It is illegal for him to say he is a cop and he is going to file charges.  All they can do is go after you in civil court.

Call the FTC and ACA, and attorney general and BBB in Georgia from my understandng they are located in marietta, ga. Dont give them a penny, they are not going to sue you or issue a warrant, that is illegal for them to say. They are goons and theives, report them immediately, I think they have enough complaints to shut them down. REPORT THEM NOW, STOP THEM NOW, THEY ARE THREATING EVERYBODY. THEY ARE NOT A LAW FIRM, THE ARE A COLLECTION AGENCY, THAT WILL NOT SUE.

They called my friend today saying that they have been trying to get ahold of me for some time now and that they were issuing an arrest warrent.  They have not contacted me either by phone or mail.  I called and talked to "MissDavis" first saying that I think that this was included in my bankrupcy, she replied that they would just go ahead and issue the arrest as not cooperating.  I then spoke with "Cindy Chase" to set up a payment arrangment to hold off the warrant until I could get this figured out.  She was prepared to take my info, but that I would still be arrested and we could let the police figure it out.  She was extremely rude and utimatley hung up on me before she could get a credit card #.  I called an attorney and am still waiting on them to return the call, also called the sheriff and told them the story to which they replied that it was possible for a warrant but highly unlikely since it is a civil matter.
Who would I call to make a complaint about this phone call?
The alleged debt was for $465 and now they want me to pay $977??? Really?

They called my fathers house!! lokking for me and i have never had a payday loan from ace.  Checked with the FTC in Georgia and they say these people are working out of India!!! I got the same calls as well telling me i was going to jail and when i quoted the statute of limitations in my state the got angry and would not listen to reason. After readint this call log i decided to call ace and try to setlle they said they sold it to another company and i call them. They said they sold it to a company named nirvana... I called Nirvana and the answered the phone with vanderburg chase and a**.... So i got another name for the company... but with all the calls i found out that i could not pay anyone but them since my stuff was sold to them.. what do i do now???

I got a call this morning at 10 am on July 16th 2008 and it was a older womans voice that told me I had a complaint filed against me and it was very important that I call back imediatly. I live in Wa state and I don't even work I am a stay at home mom. I was concerned because I didn't know what a (madjesty) court was so I googled the phone number and I got all this crazy stuff about it!!! Don't give them information!

I had them call me and Mark Robinson was very f***ing rude thats fine because if i owe i do want to pay but after having the conversation with this company i call Ace the company they said i owed and the informed me that my check did bounce the first time but after they tried it again it cleared so why are they calling me? O and it is the law you can not call peolple giving the false information such as you are and attorny which there not and dont work for telling people they have a warrant or anything of that nature an attorny is an office of the court so yes it is illegal to do that. you so called investigators need to get a real job and for the record my debt is paid. FYI if you do owe ACE check cashing what you want to do is get in contact with the company it self and make arrangments to pay them directly yes you can do that and they might appreciate you paying them so they dont have to pay that BS collection agency. You know what.... I too had a conversation with a young lady today at this same place and to be honest she was actually nice,...nothing like the way you guys are describing.  The reason why I googled the number is actually out of habit.  I think that we as individuals need to check ourselves.  When we owe a debt, which I did...w/ Ace Cash, we can't get upset with them because they call our job,(which is the number that we gave the folks or Ace or whoever)or if they call us and say pay your bill.  I am not saying that what that one little lady you were talking about Miss Hersh was right...but if we owe money regardless if we have it to pay or not, you will get more if you are polite...not hanging up on them and sending them to your collection department on hold.  What if that lady got a hold to someone, then you would have been mad because she spoke to somebody else at your job.  Hey, I am a 55 year old woman and I have seen a lot of things in my day.  And one thing I know for sure is whatever you give you will get back.  If its rudeness or politeness, you will get back what you put out.  The one person that you hung up on, may have been the one to help you.  I guarantee you if you call her back and apologize, she may still help you.  You will never know.  And also writing bad checks is against the law in all states.  I did research that as well.

I looked this company up on the better bussiness bureau and they are licensed i had a lady call me reguarfing a check loan i had tooken out but all her info was correct it had just slipped my mind i called ace cash express and they were also aware of this company so i paid the amount i owed

Had a Ms. Brundidge call my job stating she was from Chase & Assoc. and there was a formal complaint against me. For me to call her back at 404-720-0621 ext 1010. After reading everyone elses comments on this site I knew she was bogus. There is a lot of fraud that goes on through these type of places. She told me some place she was calling on behalf of and was very rude and cocky. Asked if I would like to humble myself. I told her she was no longer allowed to call my job. Not to call my employer again. She called back and asked another co worker to speak to the manager. She then asked to speak to the owner of the company. When she was told neither was available she asked for the number to get a hold of the owner of the company. I gave her my collections departments number. Let her deal with having them put her on hold for long periods of time and continous transfers.

Received a call at my job from an anonymous person stating she had a pending case against me. I asked her to contact me at home and she asked if anyone would be there to accept the call. I stated no and she then proceeded to continue to talk.  I asked her not to contact me at my job because I could not accept calls here but she kept talking.  I disconnected the call and she called back three times, which I ignored, with the last time leaving a voice message.  I listened to the message in which she never identified herself, never mentioned the nature of the "pending case" but did give me a case number, and stated I had to make a verbal statement before noon today or they would proceed with the case through the court system.  Her phone number was 404-720-0621, extension 1009.

received a call from 404 720 0621 from from a nancy hersch, stating she is filing papers have a warrant for my arrest, gave me a case number. her extension 1009. told her i cant speak with her on my job, she just kept on talking, tried to call her back, she placed me on hold after being as rude as anyone can get and so i hung, she proceed to call me back again at my job, told her again I COULD NOT SPEAK TO HER ON MY JOB, she started the threat again of my going to jail.  These are the rudes most ignorant people I have every had the misfortune to deal with.  Decided to come check them out and found this site. Glad I did, now like most folks on her, going to be reporting them by filing a complaint.

Got a call from a female. She identified herself as investigator Hurst. Stated that she was had a warrant pending and that I was going to be arrested. She gave me a case number. Her direct number is 404-720-0621 X1013. The fax number is 404-249-9599 and the address is: 887 West Marietta Street N.W. , Ste J102, Atlanta GA 30318.  I called my attorney and he said they cannot put you in jail. I am calling the police to report an extortion attempt and I will file a complaint with the BBB, FTC, and anyone else. This is ridiculous.

Called claiming to be a police detective following up on a felony case regarding a payday loan place.  Threatened to throw in jail if payment was not made in full within 4 days time.  Was told to call back within 24 hours with a credit card number to buy time and keep a warrant from being issued.  When called back, no one answered the number, but voice mail indicates either a collections agency or an attorney's office.  Something, something & associates.  Might be Bandimer, Chase & Associates or Brandimer, Chase & Associates.  Number calling was from Georgia, even though the alleged felony case would be in Colorado.
