I keep getting phone calls from this number saying im going to jail. He has all my information he keeps calling my job. Now I have all kinds of unknown numbers keep calling me... I WISH HE WOULD LEAVE ME ALONE......

BEING HARRASED BY THIS CALLER SAYING I OWE SOMEPAYDAY LOAN COMPANY MONEY. BUT I DONT!!!!!!! SAY THERE SENDING THE POLICE OUT TO ARREST ME.  THEY WANT TO KNOW IF I HAVE HIRED MY ATTORNEY YET.  THEY THREATING ME AND THEN HANG UP, I TRIED TO CALL BACK BUT THEY WILL NOT ANSWER.  THEY KEEP CALLING MY CELL PHONE AND MY WORK PHONE.
THEIR VERY HARD TO UNDERSTAND BECAUSE OF THEIR ACCENT.

Im getting harrased for the same thing!  They keep telling me the police are going to arrest for me, for a payday loan i never received.  I dont know what their talking about.  And do not know how to get them to stop calling me

They called my phone also and my job but it was a woman who left me a voice mail but when they called my job.my boss talked to two different people one told her he was located in Texas and the other said he was in California they can't even pronounce my name right! They threatened me just like the rest of u! When my manager Google the number it wasn't a legit number! These pple are sad nthng better to do than harass someone

He called my work on the 24th . I called him back on the 25th and he told me the same thing. That I owed some loan place 8000 dollars and the loan place wouldn't talk to me or anything. And in 24 to 48 hours I would be picked up at my job and i was going to jail. And I could be in jail for 1 or 2 years.

This person called me three time yesterday the 25th and it's sad that these people are doing this to us. I was told by a man who spoke not good English he said that I also was going to jail on Friday and he sound mad. I am glad I'm not the only one who is getting these calls so thanks every one for your comments.

If you look carefully at the loan you took...it was issued by a bank in another country...

Last night I got a call from 404-845-7786 and told me I had not payed back a Payday loan and they were coming after me for court fees and that the Police would be arresting me at my place of employement if I didn't have the $9,000 and I could face 1 to 2 years in jail.  I said I was not late on any loan that I didn't like being threatened. He said he was threatening he was just informing. I told him when someone tells me that I am going to arrested I call that a threat. He said if that is the way you feel then wait for the police and hung up.
I, also, got 4 calls from 415-295-5685 at work but noone was ever there so I called it back but noone would pickup.  I checked that # and all the notes are basiclly the samething of what happened on this number.

What's bad is that they will call your place of employment - thank God I gave my direct extension so I can hang up on them when they call.

I have been getting the same harrassing ohine calls threatening to have sheriff at my house in the morning and to come to my job. I want these calls to stop!!

A lady called me from this number, claiming to be with an online payday loan company that supposedly direct  deposited into my account, which is Not True! She said the loan place was Cash America, and that her law firm, marshall and o'conner, is "serving" me by e-mail several times. I informed her that to be served for a legal suit is to be brought papers, usually by cop, sheriff, or a process server and I would have to sign for these documents. I have not been served. She argued with me saying that I owe 8,455.78 and if I don't give her any money, I will have cops at my house first thing tomorrow morning, which its almost 11 am today, so if they were really going to, they could do it today. However, I have been sued before. This is not a real suit. I informed her of such. She didn't like that. I told her "good, good, send the cops over". If they show-up, I'll post it. You can be sure they won't. This is a threatening call from people trying to steal your money, it's the second one I got. The first claimed to be with the FDIC. If you are getting these calls it's because your information got out on the internet somehow. Let these f****rs have it. Report them to FBI fraud alert. They are very interested, and will investigate these a***oles!

I received a call from this number, and the person left a very nasty message for me to call him back.  I called back and asked him why he was threatening me over the phone.  He said the call was breaking up, and hung up on me.  I called back again and he said the police were on their way to my home with a warrant for my arrest.  I asked for what?  He said that I had taken out a loan in 2012 and had not paid it back.  I have never taken out a loan for anything.  He knew my social security number and my email.  I had my husband call him, but he wouldn't answer.  His name was James Howard, which I really doubt.

I was freaking out too.. I called the police and they assured me that everything is alright and no one is going to come to my address and take me. It is still really bizarre how they got all my info...It's still tripping me out. It is a scam though. Crazy people out there, I tell ya!

I am so very confused, I just got a VM on my cell phone with someone with a heavy Indian accent stating that I need to call him ASAP and if I do not he wish me luck in what happens after that.  What do I do???? I gotta admit im kinda freaking out......

Got a voice message from this person Mr. Alex Mann saying to call him back immediatley and that I will be arrested in 30 min. Also that I need a lawyer. They also did call my work and demand I call them back regarding a "legal emergency"...  It was from the 404 845-7786 number... and when I called back he informed me that the Austin PD will be coming to my address ( he said my FULL address) and arresting me for a legal matter. I then told him that I had googled his number and found out that he was a scam and he hung up... I called the authorities and informed them what was going on. DO NOT ANSWER ANY CALLS FROM 404-845-7786!!!!

I received a call from this number. All they would tell me was they were a law firm. I supposedly had received an online payday loan and I was fraudulent because I refused to pay it back. He said I had 24 hrs to pay him $8000 or I would be arrested. I told him I wasnt paying anything because I never received it. He informed me he would have an officer at my house by the end of today. My husband then called him back and told him we weren't paying anything and to go ahead and send the officer. He said we were going to contact our lawyer and get them for harassment. I contacted the local sheriff who told me it was a scam. The man called me another 8 times back to back. When I answered he said I called him back. U told them I was turning his number over to the sheriff. When the deputy tried to contact him, the number gave a busy signal. Please don't fall for this. They only want your hard earned money.

I received 10 calls from this number on my cell phone today alone, after the 10th time I answered they told me about a lawsuit against my name and social security number, I told them to quit calling me on this number, they informed me they would have me arrested in the morning.  Just a few minutes ago, the same number called my work phone and left me a voicemail stating that I will be arrested at my workplace in the morning.  They told me that American Cash Loan has a lawsuit against me for fraud, theft, deception.  They told me I will be imprisoned for 18-25 months.  I don't know who they are, how they got my social security number, how they got my work information.  But I need these calls to stop!!

The man therefore tells me that I have a criminal case against me and would I like to know what it was about, ofcourse I want to know- but Ive never been in trouble so I was extremely confused . I got to speak to the attorney, he therefore explains I have a pay day loan that I haven't paid - nor have I responded to their emails -he use American Cash Loans. He told me that the police was on their way with the companys attorney to arrest me at my home infront of my daughter (even knew my work place information) and they would hold me for 30 days because of non payment ::: I told him the loans I have are no of his business and are in good standings & I was going to contact my loan offices - he then hung up : I called the police and reported it - NO activity going on at my home :: I also called the American Cash Loan office - they have had this reported to them several times and said it is a SCAM.. they are in a didn't country trying to take whatever money you will release to them>>>>STOP CALLING MY PHONE -<<<<<

I got a phone call and I was threatened by a very rude guy with a heavy accent. I am not going to answer the call ever but If he keeps calling I may have to give him a verbal beat down! I am extremely frustrated!!!

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.
