We have been getting calls from this number since we moved into this house less than a yr ago. I have no idea what it's about.

Thanks for these other messages as it confirms my experience.  Like the whistle idea, but I've never got a human when calling back.  What's more disturbing is that my cell phone number is less tjhan1 month old.  Either ATT is re-distributing numbers too soon, or how did they get this number???

Someone called me from this number, and when I called it back a recording said it was ' WCA ' , and it did not recognize my number. I tried several more times, and it was the same until the fourth or fifth time it said " Your subscription has been canceled and  your number was removed from our database. "

I picked up because the area code looked familiar. I thought the area code was in Maryland, but it was in Georgia. It was someone calling offering IRS debt solutions. They let me press 3 to opt out, so I pressed 3. My number has been removed from their system. Let's see if they call again.

Just got a call at my job from this number wanting to sell me insurance to cover costs of a funeral in the event of an untimely death.

The more websites I go to in reference to this #, the more I am disturbed!  They ARE NOT the IRS.  In other reports I've read they claim to be a radio station calling to give you your prize, a Tax consulting company, WCA Clearing House, etc.

If they have THAT MANY "identities" they are FRAUDS and this is a clear SCAM!  DO NOT answer when they call.

i received a phone call from this number it says its originally from GA, USA they called me twice on the same day :-/ ..i called bck and no one pickd up ..fukers ...

I answered out of curiousity. A recording claimed to be from IRS to help people who has debt with them. i don't. As if you wouldn't gert a notice from them  yourself.

They call and leave no message.  Try to call back no answer. It is annoying.
