Unidentified wireless caller, no message left.

Telemarketer. They are using Craigslist ads by contacting any sellers saying they like your item then pushing their scam when you respond.

I just got a text from this number. It said "Hey." A minute later it said "Hey" again. I said hello. They responded by asking how my day was. I promptly went to this thread and started calling them Patty. Then I asked if 5077 Martindale Ln was correct. Funny they suddenly stopped responding.

Just received a call from this number 404-895-5538 its a toal scam.. Once I started asking him questions he hung up on me.

404-895-5538 has been calling on and off for the last couple of months.  In November, someone managed to get my debit card information and spent over $400 at walmart dot com.  Coincidentally, these 404 area code calls had started calling me 2 weeks prior to someone stealing my money.  People need to get lives.  These scams are old, tired, and pathetic and so is whoever is doing it.

GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER SAID HELLO AND NOTHING BUT SILENCE. SAID HELLO AGAIN AND STILL NOTHING SO I LISTENED AND IT WAS DEAD SILENT LIKE THEY WERE LISTENING TO ME SO I HUNG UP.

Some one called me from the telephone number. Not sure why they called, no message was given.

A call from this "cell phone" came to me today.  I did not answer.  No message was left.  It originated in Atlanta, GA.  We do not know anyone in Atlanta, GA.  The carrier is:  CELLCO PARTNERSHIP DBA VERIZON WIRELESS - GA

This "Card Services" company is a complete SCAM!!!

Scam was that they work with 550 financial organizations covering all credit cards if you have $5000 or more of credit card debt, they can lower your interest rate to 6.9%.  When I asked him the name of the organization that he works for, he said "Financial Rewards".  I asked if it was a public company - he said yes.  When I asked "how" they are able to lower the rate on my credit cards - he just kept repeating the same phrases over and over (above).  When I started to press him further for details (obviously not sharing any of mine) - he got upset and told me that he had explained everything to me already (really????)!  Then - he hung up.  

Went out searching for such a company with the name "Financial Rewards" - haven't found it so far.  Caller ID on my phone just says "Atlanta".  SCAM.

Got a call from 404-895-5538 on my cell..I didn't answer but did hit recall ...Showed number connected then call failed...Very annoying !

why do these people keep calling me , many times a day. how do I stop this pain.

I just received a call from the GA number.
Not only is it a scam, but they are using the fake caller ID program.  

I also received these calls on both my home phone and my cell phone from a phone number 2 digit off from mine for each phone, and then 4 digits off from mine ( For example, my phone was 2301 and I received a call from 2303, and 2305).  I called both numbers and spoke with the phone number owners - they have no clue how their phone number is reflected as a call to me, but assured me they did not call.

I then researched and discovered that there is a program you can use to call people and have the caller ID display any number you want - its a fake caller id program.

I bought a phone to block 1-800- numbers, but you can't block all these caller ID's since they will just use a new one, which is what they did in my case - none of those using that program were 1800 numbers.

Got call on my PRIVATE home land line.  I don't give out this number except for valid reasons, so am wondering HOW they get it.  I SUSPECT THE CREDIT CARD COMPANIES ARE SELLING OUR INFORMATION, people.  START DEMANDING that Companies HONOR your PRIVACY by NOT DISCLOSING your phone number to anyone with a buck to pay them!  (BTW, this is NOT a credit problem issue - its a PRIVACY issue!)

Didn't answer.  No msg.  I don't answer these calls anymore.  Too frustrating, stressful and useless.

I WILL register another complain with the donotcall list, though, even though it doesn't seem to do much good.

Got a call from these twits, pressed 9, and then when they came on I did use fake information.  Tried to have them hang on for as long as I could.  Should have gave them the number for the FTC.

They hang up because the question asked wasn't in their script that they read while on the phone.

Caller ID shows "Cell Phone GA" 404-895-5538.  It is a recorded message regarding MY credit card account and last chance to lower my interest rate.  Press 9 to speak with an agent.  I pressed 9 and "Leeah asked if I was calling in regard to lowering my interest rate."  I said, Hi Leeah, I just received this unsolicited call from your company and I would like your name and address so I can report you for calling me, as I am on the DO NOT CALL list.  She hung up on me! (how rude)  I called the number back and I just got a fast busy signal, like something was wrong with the line.  Obviously a SCAM

They called saying they could lower the interest on a credit card... we asked which one and they said LBJ's card... we told them that is impossible because he has been deceased for many years (true story) they were very rude after that and hung up.

pre recorded message advising lowering of interest rates on credit card. Card name never stated. Asked to press '9' and then call hangs up. I have received this call many times and i work for the phone company. The number comes in as a Georgia Call as well as Cellular call. Based on existing blogs it appears this number is a scam of some sort and the FCC should be dealing with these folks harshly.

No message, only number.  Won't answer to unidientified calls.

404-895-5538  -- This is the usual "Card Services" SCAM.  "This is your last chance to lower your interest rate on your card."  Which card?  "Your card... Do you have $4000 balance on any card?"

They want you to dial the card company, enter your card # and PIN to "verify"...  I believe the SCAM is they steal your card number and PIN in this process.

Voicemail picked it up, I played back and it was just a hang-up. I suspect this is a "forged" caller id, so lets not jump on the lady with the cleaning service - she is probably not responsible, just an innocent victim.

did a reverse lookup and the cell phone is working out of Atlanta Georgia.The company providing the cell service is Carrier:    CELLCO PARTNERSHIP DBA VERIZON. HEY FCC START KNOCKING ON VERIZON'S DOOR AND GET THIS NUMBER TURNED OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

receive call from 404 895-5538, Atlanta GA., I do not know anyone living in Atlanta GA., caller ID was just number and Atlanta GA., I have a policy of not answering any call w/ the caller ID missing or incomplete. I did somw research w/ a friend who has acess to good information on these type of telehone calls. The cell phone is register to a Patty Burnett in Atlanta GA., has a real estate license and own's a home cleaning company named "Top 2 Bottom Cleaning".........
