I should answer the call and see what they say. Today, I wasn't able to get to the phone and they didn't leave a message.We have a comprehensive water test done twice per year because we live close to an old landfill. It would be interesting to see what they say and compare it to the water test that is done by a third party that has nothing to gain by lying.

I received a call from a company on the caller ID at 7 AM this morning named Water Notice. Since I live in Western PA I know the area code was not local. I called them back from a junk cell phone and it just rang once then went dead. Another telemarketer scheme. I thought it was illegal to call anyone before 8 AM! Besides the early call I have well water so do not owe anyone a water bill.

Received a call from 404-902-5776 this evening. Caller ID identified the caller as "Dialtel." Left a pre-recorded message regarding the quality of our water supply, and instructed us to "press 1" if we wanted someone to come to our house to check our water. . . . Thank goodness for Caller ID!

Called our phone this evening. According to Caller ID, this call was from "Dialtel." The recorded message was about testing the quality of our water supply. and we were to press "1," if we wanted someone to check our water. Needless to say, we didn't answer the phone. . . . What good is the Federal government's "Do Not Call List?" . . . Thank goodness for Caller ID!

Same as above...., called to see if I had concerns about my water. Someone would be in my area testing......"press 1 now". I did not. I live in rural upstate NY and have a private well, so there is nothing
legit in there calling me. Wish I could press 1 and hear an explosion on the other end with these types of calls.

Called 8-8-2012 @ 18:54, recorded message about possible concern reagrding local water quality. Water utility sent out notice that month-long treatment change was happening, probably brought out the scammers trying to sell filtration and treatment systems.

I had a call from this number caller id said water notice. We don't have an outstanding water bill and live in Tx. this is not a Tx. area code...It is a spoofed number....Probably the same Indian Phishing Scam that was on ABC news.com. Calls originate in India....Do not answer or they will all all day long!
