One of those Cardmember Services scam calls.  You get a call from "Bridget" who says there is an issue with your account and you should press 1 to see about lowering your credit payments before the deal runs out.  I pressed one and screamed at the operator "HEY! Thank you for calling Credit Solution Services, this is Brett (not my name), would you like to know how you can dramatically lower your credit interest rate?" and kept on with that schtick until he hung up. From the background noise it sounded like a call center.  I've stopped asking these people nicely to take me off of their list.  I don't care if they are a different company, they are using the same scam, and since they are organized like a terrorist cell, with one group not knowing or caring about who on their master call list said no, asking them not to call has no point.  Mess with them.  Lead them on.  Curse at them.  They signed up for this job and they are violating FTC policy since I imagine most of you are on the DNC.

I also like to act all interested, then when they wanna ask you for your information, Just say you need all the info mailed to you so you have a record  on paper, and they hang up real quick..

I pressed one and asked which interest rate would get lowered  and they immediately hung up.

I also received a call about 40 minutes ago.  Didn't recognize the number so didn't answer... glad I didn't now.  Read comments from ther sites and aparently it is a telemarketer.

Didn't answer. Don't appreciate unwanted calls on my pay-go-cell phone. Do Not Call list is useless!!!

They made another pitch to lower my credit card interest rate.   I don't pay any interest, but I pressed the one in hopes that they waste some more time and money talking to me, and not get any satisfaction. That way, maybe they'll take me off their calling list.  After I spent a while fumbling and stalling, they finally hung up on me.   I encourage everyone to do the same, keep them on the line as long as possible before they hang up on you.   If certain phrases and techniques work to keep them on longer, publish them here.   I'm registered at the donotcall website.  You can too.

I called this number after receiving a missed call/no msg and the out going msg was, "The google voice subscriber is unavailable to take your call."
