They are NOT attorneys. They are not serving anyone papers. They are simply extorting funds from people on debts theyve owned at one point but have since sold to another party. Make sure they own your debt before you pay it.

I was also harrassed by these guys.  I spoke with the Georgia Office of Consumer Affairs who handles complaints for the Attorney General in GA.  Send a statement via USPS to GEORGIA GOVERNOR'S OFFICE OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS, 2 MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. DRIVE SE, SUITE 356, ATLANTA, GEORGIA 30334-4600 or fax to 404-651-9018 describing my contact with this company and their practices. Use the form located at http://www.georgia.gov/vgn/images/portal/cit_ ... mplaintform.pdf for expedited processing by their office.  He stated that it's extremely important to their case to include in my statement if the phone representative claimed to be an attorney, claimed that the firm is a law firm or alluded to the firm being a law firm or having lawyers on staff or something about a  network of attorneys that work for their firm.  

It's good to know that someone cares for the elderly these people harrasses my mom and and even tried to take her month SSi check when she only get's $500mnth they wanted $250. This will be the last senior citizen you harrass!

These people are scammers, they called and tried to get me to pay thousands of dollars more than what I really owe! I have been threatened by these people and forced to face being arrested and I am tired. I understand that they told me I owe a NCA account and I have researched them too and they have had legal issues too. I am tired and I am not willing to waste my time no more trying to get someone in charge to handle my call. I recived a phone call from a lady named Ms. Chan. She said i was going to get arrested and that she works for epstein&weinberg and associate. They said I owed a paylone ans id I don't pay I don't pay I was going to get arrested. I went and google the phone number 675-666-5759 and it came out as a scam. I don't how they get the personal information. I had recived a couple of phone calls and even called my family members.  If you get a call from this number dont worry is a scam.

I received a call from a Agent Taylor from this number 404-935-4130 after she has called my sister, my sister's ex-husband and my sister's ex-husbands mom stating that she was trying ton reach me in reference to some Felony Bank Fraud from 2008. She was very rude and nasty. She said that I needed to send them a payment of $462.00 to settle a case that I have no clue if what she's referring to. She told me that the attorney was on the way to the Dekalb County Court House to file a warrant for my arrest! Who the hell are these people????

I have been receiving countless calls from this number 1-404-935-4130...they start off in the morning and sometimes calling up to 4 times a day and for most of the week on my cell phone which steals my phone minutes I have to work hard to pay for... SO WHY CAN"T WE BLOCK NUMBERS ANYMORE ON OUR PHONES??? SOMEBODY PLEASE GIVE ME THE GENUINE REASON. To me it sounds like the credit card companies, collection agencies, etc paid or rubbed backs for the phone companies in order to have specific features altered or removed!  When I starting noticing that these companies were providing and then removing our features on the phone at their descression, I made call after call trying to find out the reason for cell phone companies removing the options to block numbers just like how most if not all email web sites started incorporating the same thing whereby they stopped letting us to actually block paticular email addresses and would only then let us label the email/sender as junk or spam mail, but not one of the companies such as AT&T, SPRINT, and VERIZON would give me a direct answer...they just kept giving me a run-around by literally saying things like "well ya know these things do change over time" and "ya just gotta go with the flow" and "in todays world our technology keeps increasing faster n faster and so changes are normal in these situations....." but not ONE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP or THEIR SUPERVISORS would give me an actual answer!!! I mean, just because technology increases, that STILL DONT EXPLAIN why they removed paticular features since if technology is increasing, then our features would have been increasingly getting better n better as technology did!!! It's Genuinely Sad That Nearly All Business Are Now Operated By LIERS If They Weren't Already.

He had to be - I heard from other people on here  the people who work at those companies are losers and jail birds usually no life and desperate to make money.  They are scammers.  I reported them to FBI IC3 site and I don't even bother with their calls I have call block so they don't come in.  LOL

For the over five years I have had my phone number, I have received probably at least 500 calls looking for someone named Debra Johnson.  I got another one today, from this phone number, 404-935-4130.  Now, my answering machine message clearly says MY and my husband's name on it - no mention of any Debra.  The lady who called first started with "This message is for..." trailing off, and hanging up, probably because she realized that who she was calling for was not my husband and I.  Nevertheless, about 4 minutes later, she proved ridiculously stupid and called back, leaving a message, saying she was from this Weinberg and Associates company calling for Debra Johnson about some sort of fraud and to call her back at 877-215-9330; ext 1017, about case #481850.  I wish I had answered the phone so that I could try to get it through her thick skull that I am NOT and will NEVER be Debra Johnson and that I have no idea who she is, but whoever she is, she has made my life pretty crappy with 5+ years of WRONG PHONE CALLS.

Just got a call from this number with a nasty woman on the other end.  Said she was investigating someone with a felony and my name came up with my phone number.  Wanted to know if I knew this jane doe and I said you have the wrong number.  She said either you know her or you don't which is it.  I told her I NEVER answer any questions over the phone.  She said I don't have time for games....This is an investigation...do u understand those words.  I said yes and hung up.

I have received multiple calls from this number 404-935-4130 over a period of a month and they never left a message and just this morning another call so I decided to answer it, and I was greeted by Investigator Nancy Newman with the Law Firm of Epstein & Weinberg, who asked for my name for which I told her and then asked for the last 4 digits of my Social Security number for which I refused, she then said never mind she didn't need it and began telling me I was being investigated for a Cash Advance Loan and a Tax Fraud Case.  Her information is that I received a Payday Loan in Georgia and Owe State Taxes for the state of Virginia.  I explained to this women that Payday Loans are illegal in Georgia so that's wrong and I have never lived in Virginia so that's incorrect as well. I told her to stop calling my number as she had incorrect information and that I have Terminal Cancer and don't need the stress.  At this point she got ugly and told me to quit making excuses and pay my debts or an arrest warrant would be issued. I had today to return a call to her with a form of payment. I just hung up the phone at this point and found all the post about these people on the internet.  All I can say is beware of people trying to get your money.  I will not be alive long enough to see where this ends up so I thought I would warn others.  Do your Homework and check these people out and never conduct business over the phone, ask for their address and go see them and verify the information they have and report fraud to your state District Attorney's Office.  Good Luck & God Bless

I received 2 calls within 2 minutes saying they were calling about check fraud and were trying to save me embarrassment because they were going to serve me with a warrant but would go to my human resources department if necessary.  I have not had a checking account for several years so don't know how fraud could be involved.  I advised another call and I would contact the police department in my city (Des Moines, IA) as well as hers (area code 404 is Atlanta per Google). She was trying to be hard nosed but I can tell this is a collection scam.  I googled the number and there are many others who have received similar calls from this number,  within the past month and going back two years.  The number they called is my work number, they did not call me on my cell phone.  I think it is illegal for people to contact others at work for collection purposes, especially when it is a scam.  Something needs to be done about it.

That's a lie I sent trw my letter since it was from 2007 as a bad check and took my score from 572 to 642 within 30 days.....pay what you owe this is the American dream if you owe pay. Nobody has money to just give to you.
