I figured it out! This is a call from skype, basically meaning someone was trying to video call you. I checked my call history and video calls i got earlier from someone i knew came up as this #. Don't freak, this is just innocent skype

got a call quite a few times..and no one answer when I say Hello, they hang up.

I was given this number by a guy on Meet Me.com Claims his name is Sam Bryant. I was checking to see if  dude was legit. He wanted me to text him and gave me his yahoo address also. Sounds like a scammer to me.

this number was the number from a guy i was talking to via skype met him on POF. was an a** kept hanging up then accused me so it must be a number assigned by skype

We've been getting calls from these people from several different numbers since June 2012. Mostly on our home phone that is unlisted, but that doesn't matter with these people. Now they started calling our cell phones. Last night was the first time from this number. And this was on our home phone as well. Can you call home phones from Skype? I know who they are. We never answer the phone and they never leave messages, but the continue to call. I thought they would stop calling eventually if we never answer.It's been 10 months. They don't give up. It's a Bill collector called Portfolio Recovery. Even the caller ID says this. We've changed our number 3 times and they all have been unlisted. Doesn't make a difference. This number has been put on block like all the rest.

I received a Skype call from this number to advise my computer was not working correctly and to go to www.helpowo.com..........I do not think so!!  I googled the number and it says it is a telemarketer and a scam.

This number is associated with the Skype/Verizon mobile app. If you call the number you will received a recording "The number you dialed is not in service". If you receive a call from this number it is no doubt someone trying to reach you via a Skype to mobile connection.

Got a skype call from this number, it was a computer generated voice telling me that my computer was corrupted and to go to a website:  www.hlpd......something or other and to do a full system repair!!!  Fortunately this was a call to my SkypeMobile on my phone, and my skype was turned off on my laptop at home.  The call initially showed it was coming from Verizon, my cell phone company, but then went to Skype.  Strange but good evidence this number is being used for phishing.

I keep getting Skype mobile calls from 404-941-8603, if i try and call it back it says I have reached a non-working number.

This number called me and left no voicemail and appeared in my contacts under the name Yael Kiken......maybe from Skype mobile but isn't in my contacts for Skype. I think she is a woman who lives in D.C.

Said my computer service is not active and sent me to a website, of which I didn't.  I remove the application from my droid.  The NERVE!

This was a recorded call from 404 941-8603. Originated through Skype most likely, you can call your cellphone provider and block these numbers...depends on your carrier.

I am really made about getting these stupid calls from that number several times a day but it really got me upset getting a call in the middle of the night.....thinking it was an emergency I answered and not one was there.
Please help to stop this.

Someone has been calling me from this number on my cell for weeks.  I usually ignore it.  But last night called me and woke me up at1:15 am and I am furious.  Who is this and how do I stop it?

Got a call they left a message said my computer isnt protected and to go to some website to fix it.

This call is originating from India, and is being called by a "con artist" there. The call is being generated using a computer and the person on the is using "Skype"  or "Soft phone" to generate the call. Report this call to FCC/FBI/SEC

Got a random call from this number through Skype on my cell at 4:30pm today telling me the security on my computer was compromised.

This woman called me through skype. Saying if i dont give her a show she was going to put bad pics of me online. I have no idea who this is and what they were going to post since they didnt get a picture from me. never talked to them. but figure this out before some kid gets hurt.

KEEPS CALLING AT ALL HOURS.  I DONT ANSWER.  HOW CAN I STOP THIS?  CAN I BLOCK AN UNWANTED SKYPE CALL?

its a person trying to scam you by showing herself naked and making you jerk it for her then tries to black mail you by putting it on you tube and charges 350 to do it
