Got a call from this number at 8:24pm tonight, caller ID said Nebraska and since I don't know anyone in Nebraska I did not answer. So from what I gather from all these comments here is that they say it is a Gallup Poll Survey but it's just a pitch to get you to buy something. So I'm blocking them now on my cell phone. Why does the "Do Not Call" list, which my number is on, even exist when idiots like this can just call whoever they please?

Got several calls from this number, but I'm never by my cell when it happens. Also no voicemail.

Omg getting pissed, number called a few times and I never picked up. No message left of course, so when they called again, my husband answered and said we weren't interested.
Well they called again today and its ALWAYS after 7pm. The person claimed that it was a "Gallup Poll" wtf.

None left.

Just got a call from 402-952-4444, said they were Gallup poll---I went wacko. I am in RI, have been without electricity for 5 days from Hurricane Sandy, power literally just went back on.  My family is calling from 3 states to check on me, landlines not working yet and these people feel justified in burning precious minutes needed to get water & medications etc!! I AM OUTRAGED. Surely, SURELY there is a law against this mindless sort of garbage, of taking advantage of folks. I DID NOT GIVE THEM MY #, dont know where they got it. I am angry enough about this to take some real action over it. BTW, the woman was VERY cocky with me, arrogant & rude, which is WHY I went wacko on her.

Called and asked to do survery for PNC Bank.  I said no thanks and they keep calling.

I emailed galluphelp@gallup.com and asked them to stop calling me, and they politely replied that they would, but it might take 24 hours for it to take effect.

They have called my cell phone about 5 times over the last week.  Didn't recognize the number so ignored it, they didn't leave a voicemail.

I gotten two a day for the past six weeks. No VM.

I've been getting calls from this number for 4 straight days, usually twice a day.  I don't answer and the caller never leaves a VM. No idea who or what it is?

constant calls...shows Gallop on ID

Call yesterday, no VM. Called today so I answered. Claimed to be Gallup Poll and started pitch. I interrupted saying remove my number and did she understand. She said yes and resumed pitch until I hung up.
