I received a call from investigator Tole, she was very rude and nasty. She stated that I was under investigation for some loan that was taken out. When the crazy loon tried to ask me my social and I would not give her any information she became very angry.She also stated that it was on behalf of Woodforest National bank and that account has been closed for going on years. She also stated that they did a background investigation on me and they found that I did not have any fraud in my background. She kept calling me back after I hung up.She also said that she was going to garnish my wages from a job that I no longer work for. I thought she said she did a backgound check you stupid idiot. This is definitely a SCAM. I am also reporting to the police department and the attorney generals office.

received call from investigator tolen saying i was up for arraignment in federal court due to an account that i have never had.

We just got a call from this number.   He claims to be following up on a payday loan.  Of course we have no idea what he is talking about.  He immediately asks us for our social and refuses to disclose his company name when we asked him who he worked for.

They said the same to me! said she was investigating me for fraud! I have never done anything so Im not too worried about it! These stupid a$$ bill collectors will do anything to get u to call them back! They need to get a real job!

Definitely a scam, but couldn't figure out her (Investigator Tolen) angle.  Accused my mother of being under investigation for fraud, cited a bunch of nonsensical FDIC rules, refused to name her "agency", refused to give any info without my mother's approval (LOL).  Initially unsettling because I happen to be a Federal agent and this is something I would have to report.  Use caution:  At a minimum, if they won't identify their "agency", their supervisor, or specific statutes - don't give them ANY info.  Federal agencies don't generally conduct law enforcement business over the phone, especially without any assurances of who they are.

I received several calls two from Tolen and two from a Patrick guy. Both intimidating, both threatening.   I was so worried that I contacted a lawyer.  She informed me that it was probably fraud and to do a reverse phone search look up and this page is what I found.  

It is a SCAM as far as there is NO investigator nor anyone watching our houses. And it is a DEBT COLLECTOR that is clearly not following the rules of collection.  I hope this note helps others out there not have to worry anymore.

This person Tolan called my parents. Look this number up under free 411. %It comes back to a Naomi Hinton in Conley Georgia address listed as 4288 Old House Lane. The house is up for sale. When I spoke to this woman she would not give me the name of the company nor the address. She said she didnt need the problems so early in the morning. If they keep calling you have the phone company block her number and make a report to your police company. This call is coming from someones hoyse. Put the address in on serch on computer her house will come with two cars sitting in the driveway. When I confronted her with this she hung uo on me. Total b----.

I am getting calls from a detective Tolen and it was a lady. In regards to a payday loan from 4 years ago and how they can put felony charges on me. Sounds like a lot of bull.

Had a message on my voice mail that my daughter needed to call this number right away and it was about fraud on her part. She called and got a very RUDE woman on the other end that would not give her any info about the company or who she was. After my daughter asked several questions, this woman got really Rude and hung up. This certainly sounds like a scam.

Random call from some investigator. I have no idea who why or what. I don't owe anyone for a loan. I am getting my number changed because of the harrassment.

Received call last night from Decetive Tolen something about a check scam and ss numbers. He left a message. Thanks for letting me know it is a scam. I will not call back nor answer the calls.

I got a call from Investigator Tolen also very very rude and also claims to have the sheriffs of my county come to arrest me and put my name on some list for ten years. and still calling phone number 404-963-5072 and ms bolten also call with same threats 404-228-6405  this is very wrong! they need to be stop harassing people like that.

I got a vmail from investigator tolen last night.  Googled the number, found this site, called it back. She was nice, but had no record of dialing my number. She said must have dialed in error.  Really sounds like a collector. Caller ID said M&L, LLC

The Better Business Bureau has released many alerts on this scam, google "bbb.org alert phony debt collector"  Variations of this scam exist so read all the alerts to get a flavor of what they are.

I believe he is a bill collector from a Payday loan. He claims to be an investigator but that is not true!

not sure who this call is from! Said they are investigating me for fraud!  WTF?
