Its a scam people. Ignore them or cuss them out like I did.

I just recieved a call to my job and this guy David Parish told my co-worker from where he was calling and left message saying that it was from Internal Fraud Division and I need to call back  if not will get me arrested and take  me to jail, I know I owe a Payday Loan but Im bearly making enough to pay bills. He doesn have manners cause he left this message with my co-worker.

I have been recieving phone calls from 404-991-6871. Stuart Wallace told me that he was a paralegal and that if I didn't call him back by 2:00 that he was going to file felony charges against me for an old payday loan. He told me that they would contact me in the state I am now living in and the police would detain me, transfer me back to NV and put me in jail there waiting my trial. Can this really happen? Do I need to get a laywer? I have read all of the posts here but I am still afraid. I have no criminal record whatsoever.

I WAS CONTACTED FROM  404 991 6871 AND 404 991 6875. I WAS THREATENED WITH FELONY FRAUD CHARGES FOR AN OLD PAYDAY LOAN. THE FIRST CALLER KNEW PERSONAL INFO ABOUT ME...HE HAD ME NERVOUS. THEN THE NERVOUSNESS TURNED TO ANGER. WHEN I GOT INDIGNENT WITH HIM, I GOT ANOTHER CALL WITH MORE THREATS OF PROSECUTION.

Well I am writing to say he is still at his games.Threatening me wth felony fraud and suspending my license which now I found out he can not do that at all  but in the end he got from me a for a total of $700.00 dollars.I fell for his BS because I was transfering to a new location with my job and moving to a new state and had alot on my mind and I didn't want any legal trouble following me.I will be making the right calls to get to the bottom of this.

My daughter just called frightened ... she got a call from 404.991.6871 asking for someone (she didn't catch the name) when she said she didn't know the person they asked if she was sure and said that person was under investigation and she should cooperate.

i got a phone call and he left a message stating he was a detective with the fraud divisoin in a town i used to live in he had the last four of my social correct he stated i needed to contact him and plead my case before charges were filed four 1st degree felony for fraud i called him back and it was answering machine wanting all the information including my full social security i didnt give it and called the police and sheriffs offices they have no idea who he is it scared me so much i was in tears do not fall for this and report it we have to stop these scammers

Called my house today.  How do we send him to jail?

My name is Fahim, my spouse is Lisa, a victim of unlawful threats and a plethora of other FDCPA violations. The same clown "Stewart Wallace" fruadulently misrepresenting himself as an "investigatigator attempted to contact to call my wife (LISA) on the premise of a debt and pending criminal charges in the "first degree felony division". Well unbekown to Stewart; I am a licensed debt collection specialist, and am well versed in the rules and regaulations that constitute the FDCPA. Well, if he is an individual there won't be much in the way of a liability that can be accomplished by taking him to court. However, please know that a professional debt collector will never utter threats, nor say anything that he or she is unable to fulfill. In addition, a debt, no matter how large can never become a criminal issue in any court in the USA. But I have filed a complaint with the proper authorities.

It seems that Chief Investigator Stewart Wallace is not really from Texas at all.  The telephone number is actually a land line in Duluth GA.   We live near there and share the area code. The call we received today was not even for someone with the same name.  The last 4 of the social he quoted was wrong too.  Filing something in TX to force him back to TX to face the courts is really interesting since he has NEVER lived in TX either.  Sounds like not only are they scamming, but also are desperate.

He called me saying I owed $1500 and was going to turn me into the DA for 1st degree felony which I am in Texas and I could tell it to the judge.  I told him my husband actually is a criminal investigator for the DA in the county that he wants to turn it into.  Wonder if he will call me again?

Contact the FBI in your state since this idiot is crossing state lines with iilegal threats.

I received a phone call from Stuart Wallace today saying if i didn't pay 1600+ today I was going to have my license suspended said field agents where in my county as we speak to file the paper work. this was in reference to a loan from cash net in October 2007

A friend of mine just got the same calls today, at work.  Threatening to have her arrested for Felony Fraud if she did not pay her debt an intrest. She borrowed $350 and now they want $600.  I am unsure how much she has paid towards the loan.  In Texas, this is still a misdemeanor amount IF it constitutes a Theft, but on a loan, its civil.  He had my friend in tears.  The loan amount is not past statue of limitations, but again, here in Texas, its civil and does not meet the elements of fraud or any other criminal offense in the Texas Penal Code.

Do you have more information on who this is?  I am an investigator for the Sheriff's Dept and plan to attempt to make contact with them this week.

Client has had multiple calls from a man threatening to arrest her for out of stat payday loans. "Stewart Wallace-Chief Investigator" Violates FDCPA in many, many ways. Will use irritation and intimidation to try to get you to pay on something you may not even owe, junk debt, well past the statute of limitations. Tell him you have contacted the authorities and will not pay.
