I with all if u that say they don't take the time to extradite you or put you in jail for payday loans. Don't you know they threaten jail time and say they are lawyers but they are lying and trying to scare you. Also it is not check fraud either. Payday loan companies are being fined for misrepresenting themselves so they break the
law to try and scare you. There is a movement to shut them down

I had a call from this guy today. Same BS left as a message for me. Sorry to say this but you just broke fairness debt collection act and I will be putting in a call to the FTC, BBB and the attorney general for my state. They can say whatever they like but without any documents being sent directly to you prove that the debt is real or other wise they cant do anything.

Total B.S. Probably some stooge working for the collection agency.
wendel 2013-01-25 18:55:58 Unknown
OK PLZ BE ADV: So your "STATES" went through an extradition process and hearing to ship you back to Georgia on a payday loan default of $761.23? I hate to tell you this, but a payday loan default isn't grounds for extradition from or to anywhere, except in your own grammatically-challenged imagination.
wendel 2013-01-25 18:48:15 Unknown
"Yall" full of it.
Greg 2013-01-25 17:06:43 Unknown
It's a debt collector.
GiG 2013-01-25 13:23:03 Unknown
Like us regular posters are buying your BS!
*rolls eyes*

Either that (time traveling all the way back some 183 years) or from some country like China or Hong Kong! LOL
If neither time travel or from some country that still practices imprisoning people for bad debt ... then possibly delusionally believing he's a character in one of Charles Dicken's books! ;)

Do you have a time machine? Cuz that's the only way you'd have just gotten out of a debtor's prison!

i just decided to get on her and see if anyone has been through what ive been thru.. i recently just got out of jail and to top it off i had to pay a cash bond to get out. the cash bond was four times more then the loan itself. im not telling yall what to do but its not them thats after people. its actually the money lender thats pressing the charges. i did get my motion for discovery and come to find out they really do prosecute. not telling yall what to do but i would hate to see yall go thru what i went thru.. good luck with yall situation cus now im screwed for not listening....

This is a scam. Failing to pay a debt isn't even a misdemeanor, much less a felony ? it's strictly a civil matter. The people who called you are committing extortion and fraud. They're probably from outside the U.S. so the chances of prosecuting them are slim and none.

a man named robert johnson called claiming to be an investigator for the law firm of morgan & shapiro. claimed that i owed 1107.00 on a defaulted payday loan. said if i didn't pay, they would forward my name to state of pennsylvania so they could issue a felony warrant. refused to give address of law firm, and has also identified himself as a compliance officer.
