They have taken up texting now. When called back, simply says the number isn't taking calls right now.

They sent me a text message this morning.  Saying my card had been "deactivated."  I called the number and all it asked for was my card number.  Didn't specify bank card, credit card etc.  Please don't give these scam artist your info!

I too received a call from 405-200-7641 on my cell phone and they left no message.  First of all, you can add your cell phone to the DO NOT Call list (www.donotcall.gov), which I did a long time ago.  Previously I had daily calls from another number on my cell phone.  Once I reported that number to the Do Not Call List, the calls stopped.  After I finish posting this, my next stop is to www.donotcall.gov, so that I can report 405-200-7641.  I suggest you do the same as their is strength in numbers !

Called my registered Do Not Call cell phone around 940 AM CDT. Did not answer nor did they leave a message. From other sites about this number, they are likely a scam. If they call you, especially a cell, you can file a complaint with the FTC at:  https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx   Select File A Complaint and go from there.

They keep calling my cell phone, I am registered on the Do Not Call list but it doesn't seem to help!!

I just got a call from them at 9:30am.. they didn't leave  a message and I'm not looking forward to any returned calls after reading the comments here. I'm hoping there not going to start bothering me the way they have some of you.. that's unfortunate that people can do this and get away with it.

Call saying they could lower my interest rate. I have low interest rates, so I wanted to find out WHO was calling.

I pressed 1 to speak with someone and they asked if I pressed 1. I said yes and asked where they were calling from and was immediately hung up on.

This is the THIRD time they've called my cell phone.

Called to lower credit card rate.  Would not give the name of the company.  When I pressed for it, I was patronized, then hung up on.

I am getting a ton of these calls lately despite having re-registered all my numbers on the DO NOT CALL list.  Frustrating and annoying.

Would like to know why if I'm on the no call registry, why I'm still getting these calls? They are becoming daily. I don't answer them but still, I feel I shouldn't be getting them!

I have a Chase card too. They also have my cell#. Hmmm...never thought about that. It's BS!

Got another call from this credit card scam.  On my cell phone no less.  I pressed #1 to speak to a "live customer service representative" and when they answered, I nicely asked if they could please remove my number.  They simply hung up on me!  I've reported them to the National Do Not Call list again... Evidently, the same company uses multiple phone numbers so that's probably why all the blocking isn't working.

Sometimes I set the answering machine so no message can be left. I have yet to receive a message from them. It's my way to annoy them.

I have tried unsuccessfully to get this number to stop calling me on my house and cell phones.  Finally filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry today.

On Verizon Wireless, you can block up to 5 numbers, free of charge, for a few months. After the time expires, just re-enter the numbers to block.
For a monthly fee, this can be expanded to 20 numbers for an unlimited time.
It under the Spam Control options of your account.

Just got a call from this number.  Did not answer but wanted to post to alert people it is still being done.  It was called to my cell phone.

Maybe a class action suit against Verizon would give them incentive to find a way that customers can block nuisance numbers.

Some sort of action against the Federal Trade Commission, who demands to be the ultimate authority but ignores the situation, would be better.

I did  just open up an acct at Chase bank a few weeks ago and gave them my cell #. They are the only ones that I have used my cell phone with. Maybe they are  selling the #''s?

I didn't answer this call. Generally, I don't if I don't know the number.

They left a message claiming they were from one of my credit card companies.....Not!!!!
