I got a call from them today, May 19, 2008.  Sounded like someone was listening to me and then hung up at their end, then picked back up, knew I was still on the line, and hung up again.  The caller ID had their phone number and "OK" for Oklahoma, I guess.  Reverse lookup did tell me that it's a land line, unlisted.  A map showed it being in downtown Oklahoma City.

They hung up immediately.

The person never would say anything.  Probably a telemarketer violating the DO NOT CALL list.

I got a call from this same number. Did anyone place an ad in the Daily Oklahoman? I did hours before receiving this call. An idea anyhow.

Received a call from them on July 4th! Caller ID listed "OK". I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message.

I got a call from this number today. I called it back but not anwser. I have had a call from this number in the past. I asked them to put me on their no call list. They do not get it. It most likely is a scam. I looked up the location, and it looks to be in a bad area of Oklaohma City. Do not waste your time with these people. I'm reporting them for calling again.

When we got home, their number was on my caller ID.  I tried to call it back, but got a busy signal.  The number seems familiar, but it's no one we know - they must have called us before.  In any event, After reading your responses, now I figure its either a scam, or they are telemarketers.  We're on the DO NOT CALL LIST, as well, so I'm going to do some checking into this a see if the phone company can shed some light and make them go away!!!!

I got the call and answered it and they said they were with the Highway Patrol seeking donations for the new DUI program they were about to kick off or something like that.  I just hung up because I think these are scams.

Dead air when I answered this call.

2nd call in two months.  Didn't recognize number so didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message either time.  Just knew it was from OKC.

My opinion, for what its worth, if someone can't give you an honest description on caller ID, its not worth the trouble to call back.

Pickup and no one there..

phone rings. I answered it. NO ONE there and then it hangs up. I have my number on the "do not call" list but this one came through anyway !!!! I am too busy to be bothered with this non-sense !!  What can be done about this..

Got this call, picked up out of curiousity, and it was dialtone like no one was calling. KFOR says its a scam? What kind of scam, and should I be worried about something since I answered?

The call came into my home line and when I answered no one was there.  Immediately after I hung up, the same call come into my office line (the numbers are not sequential or listed together to my knowledge).  I let the office call roll to voice mail.

I hate these jerks.  For anyone who cares, KFOR in OKC said this is a SCAM.

I answered on the 2nd ring and there was no one there.

MISSED THE CALL AND CALLED BACK  GOT VOICE MAIL "NO ONE IN THE OFFICE AT THIS TIME.

Same thing - Phone rings..I pick up...no one there...tried calling it back AT&T phone notes...not a valid # etc.

Phone rang...I answered it.  There is no one on the line.  I gave a call back....at&t phone notes?  Hope it is not one of these con's that charge you when you respond!!

I did not answer a call from this caller/number since I did not recognize it.  After it stopped ringing, I redialed and the response said 'AT&T Call Notes', press * to enter your mailbox.  I pressed '*'.  The message said to enter a mailbox number, so I entered the number that had called; i.e., 405-231-2155.  The recording then said that '231-2155 is not a working number'.  How can this be since I had just received a call from this number????
