I got a call at 1:20 pm on 11-11-08.  They hung up when I answered and it woke up my baby during her nap.  I am on the do not call list.  Does anyone know if there is anything that we can do businesses flagrantly disregard the Do Not Call List?

3.54pm they called and hung up after hello. Sounds like another pain in the butt solicitor. I am also on the do not call list. Caller ID shows OK and when I researched it got the same names as what Bosco entered. I hope they don't keep calling.....

Called around 8 pm, rang twice and they hung up when my wife answered.  It is now blocked so they can't annoy us again.

The message said that a company who's identity wanted to remain anonymous was interested in giving me a job opportunity after seeing my resume on the internet.  If I was interested I needed to call the same number back and to make sure I was connected to the internet when I did to continue with application process.

i got this too and researched it on the internet and it said you've reached "the office"...not sure what it was though. annoying!

the caller ID said "OK" was who the call was from and the number was 405-231-3186

someone called and they said "hello" and then it cut off=when I checked google -it said what others had experienced-they dob't answer and when you call their call center #-it says they are not in the office-have no idea what it means

i also had a call from this number and tried to call it back and the message said thanks for calling the office please leave a message.  Sounds interesting to me.

This caller from number 1-405-231-3186 will be report his street name is Dean a Mcgee ave.
Its between N Walker ave and N Hudson funny thing i know excalty where that at always going to OK City!

I called this number back answering machine said thank you for calling our office.  But the voice mail says the mailbox is full try again later.  Sounds like a scam to me.

I periodically get this call. I think mom n OK and jcb are right. Someone is calling asking for donations saying they are with the Assn of State Troopers. It probably is a scammer as they are rude if you say no and hang up. Also they will ask for money to buy circus ticket for needy kids. I signed up for call blocker just for this number but keep forgetting to do it as the last caller. I'll block 'em yet.

This number keeps trying to reach us on both phones in our home.  Do not answer.

I got a call this morning from this number, they just hung up.  I will not call back.  If someone wanted to talk to me they would not have hung up.  The caller ID just said OK.

DO NOT Leave your name and number, if you do that permission allows them to avoid the DO NOT CALL list restrictions.

Same as everyone else. I did a reverse lookup and the number is unlisted. I've received calls from the State Troopers for fund raising and the caller ID shows it as State Trooper Assoc. or something like that. Probably a major scam that will increase in frequency now that the holidays are coming on.

Didn't answer the phone because I didn't recognize the number and call ID said OK for the name.  I let the answering machine pick it up and they just hung up without leaving a message.  I called it back and got a busy signal, so I called it back again and got a male voice saying: Hello you have reached the office if you leave your name and number we will call you back shortly.  I didn't leave anything.

I've had a call daily from 405-231-3186 the last three days.  They left no message on my machine the first two days.  Today I answered and a man said hello, (my first name), I'm calling you back from the Association of State Troopers.  I said not interested and hung up.  I'm sure they are asking for a donation.

Patorol sound like a money scam, but then I hear my own voice in the

back ground, I said are you recording me, and I hung up.
