can some one be nice to report this phone calls, it's annoying no messages, or no one talks.

annoying robo-caller

Called # and it goes to an operator and she connects you to customer service who will take your # off the call list. She was very surprised I was getting called in N.Y.

I called them back and asked them who they were, lady replied they were GC Services: http://www.gcserv.com/

They are apparently a debt collector. It really sucks when your new phone number belongs to someone with huge debt. :(

To begin,  you might answer one time only,   and tell them that you don't want any more calls.

I don't answer because I do not recognize this number.  How do I make it stop??

I have gotten 8 phone calls from them in the last 2 days. Some within 30 minutes of each other. I have answered and told them to stop calling, but they have kept calling and calling. How in the hell do I get them to stop!

Call me 7 days a week too about 12 times a day. Sick of it!

I live in Utah... I do not want anything anyone is selling.. Tired of getting several calls a day and no one is there or they do not leave a message.  Want them to stop calling my cell phone.

I received a phone call from these same guys tonight and they hung up as soon as I answered.  I'm on the no-call list too and filed a complaint at the don't call government web site, you should too!

They call at 8 A.M. and 9 P.M. we have been receiving calls from them for weeks; when will they ever stop.

Why in the hell would a newspaper 1000 miles away want you too buy a newspaper from a town that is 100 miles away from me that i have no care in the world about that town..

Just started getting calls to my cell phone - several times per day, when you answer, nobody is there. If I had a subscription to the newspaper 1,000 miles away I'd cancel it.

They are doing the same thing to me, how do I get them to stop?

Looks like Newsday of Long Island fired their sales team to make money and outsourced it to a company in Texas.
Block these people from calling you AND STOP BUYING NEWSDAY!!!!

Do not remember the guys name, but he told me that he was calling from the Savannah Morning News and that he was not selling anything. But wanted to let me know that he was going to send me some cupons in the mail. I notice that this # appears on my caller id alots but never leaves a message.

These people are calling for the Gazette in Cedar Rapids IA.  After weeks of calls and answering and no one there, or calling and leaving no message, this morning they called and said they were trying to bring back their old customers with a discount.  They called me this morning at 7:15 am, 8:30 am which I answered and no one would talk but you could hear background noise.  They called at 9 am and finally someone talked.  I called the Gazetter main office here in Cedar Rapids and complained.  Hope this helps anyone else if they are having this problem.

Had several calls now from this number. Called it back once and it said Metro News, so I hung up. I live in London, England so can't see that I need a newspaper from Oklahoma!!

They call at least twice a day to a number I use only for texting.  They must really love to waste their time.  Whoever is paying them is getting bilked.

This is actually a 3rd party promotions company that offers your local newspaper at a discounted rate (I'm assuming they also make a commission) the newspapers hire this company to make cold calls to sign you up for the newspaper.
