Individual identified himself as working for ARS, tried to verify identity.  Sounds like collections

I have been receiving phone calls from 405-463-4983 every night at about the same time each night. Whoever is calling never bothers to leave a message. Since I do not recognize the number, I never answer it.

Did not answer no message left.

I saw that I had a missed call from this number. I called them and they answered "customer service" or something like that, but very polite. This is a collection agency although; they do not say the name of the company. Apparently they are looking for a Manuel Garcia. I assume is the last person that owned my number. I told them there's no one in my household with that name that, my number is new (about 6 months old) and it is registered with the Do Not Call Registry. They apologized for the call. Said they will make a note of it and will not call again.

That really seems to be a violation of the FDCA abd a federak crim of impersonating a Federal Agent

Keep calling. I don't answer. Try to call back but get a busy signal. I'll call private & the phone just rings and rings.

Left no message.  Looked in reverse phone.  Suppose to be a residential phone, but after reading messages I assume it is a collection agency with the wrong number.

numerous calls-no messages- no voice mail-- screw them shut off land line and go cellular--you can block them then--

calls everyday can't call them back

I have told these people that they are calling the wrong number that they have been put on notice to STOP calling my number, if it is a collection agency, this is not my debt.  But they sill kept calling!

Got a call at 7:25pm on President's Day.  Answered only to be hung up on.

Automated does give option to go thru a long route to get to; the person doesnt live here and remove my number.... BUT IT DOESNT WORK! ARS (and I assume is a collection agency) has called from numorous numbers leaving automated information. My EX hasnt had this number in 2 yrs, he had his own number for over a yr at his own home, now has another number at his new home. Remove my number hasnt worked and returning their call either by 405-463-4983 (constantly busy) or the number left for a callback 866-222-0270 does not give me an option to speak with anyone

Starting on the night of January 12, 2009, we have been getting calls from this number also. No message is left.

This person called from a "collection agency," though the number is listed as a residential number. The person who owed the agency no longer had my phone number; as I tried to tell the person this, he began harassing me and accusing me of trying to "avoid" his questions. He grew increasingly angry and then hung up on me.
