Rebeca Miller rebeca.miller001@gmail.com was my scammer. I listed my Tahoe on Craigslist. I got a text sayin " 2) Your PayPal Email Address3) Your Picked Up Location Address4)Cell Number5) final price" really. And all of the info that came with it was mispellled
315-329-6160 was the number I was text from.

Yup also had a text from Brenda James, the exact day I posted my car (3 days ago), marine officer bla bla, she is pushing for a paypal transfer but I will only accept money via driect transfer into my account. Then I found this... Feels bad but at least I know. Cheers ladies and gentlemen for the warnings.

We have had the same issue with Brenda James - I was selling my Audi and had listed it on Trade Me.  Selling for $29,500 and without wishing to look at the vehicle, 'Brenda' wanted to puirchase the car.......  I was suss straight away as who would pay $29,500 to buy a car without looking at it......  'She' asked me to set up a Paypal account to pay and stated that because of her role as a 'Marine Officer', it was difficult for her to look at the car.  Because I was suspicious about her, the story etc and looked her name up on the internet - Found all of this!!!!!!  Sellers be aware!!!

I just got an email from a Darah Oxford and it was a gmail account. I posted an add for something on there and the email I received said "Hello seller do u still have this item for sale let me have the price and condition?" Then a bunch of employee postion names like from a school and then the above number. I kind of figure it may be a scam because the person asked the price and condition. I almost sent a message back saying "Duh, the price is in your reply line and the condition was listed in the add that you replied to. I would never consider anything but cash anyway because people can bounce checks or put a stop payment on a money order. I can't wait for this person to send me a response back after saying yes it is etc.

These people need to consider using their efforts to get a real job instead of spending all of their time and energy trying to rip people off. Grow up people...come on.

Got the same exact email from Brenda Craig. Gut feeling it was a scam....sure enough it was!  Glad everyone is posting their stories!

I recently posted a run in with this scam artist. They actually sent me very convincing looking paypal email confirmations. Looks very legit and even says paypal in the address. BUT....... I noticed an extra "." in the address not like my other paypal emails. Sure enough they are fake!!!!!! In these fake emails they asked me to send money Western Union to their "pick up agent" before the funds would clear. People beware!!!!! This scam has many realistic parts but is fraud fraud fraud.

I received an email from Brenda Craig the marine engineer as well. Wanting to buy my show horse for her son as a gift. She insisted on pay pal. I am a pay pal user and I am confused how they are scamming people with a secure site like pay pal? Anyone get anything more than emails from this person? Any bad consequences? I'm concerned since she has my email address.

I received this same email from an add I had posted on Kijiji. I'm glad I did a search on this, great input from all of you.
After reading all of your inputs I responded to the email saying;

I just got this exact email for an ad on Craigslist. Thank you for posting this. I thought if they went through PayPal I was safe. Obviously not!! Beware!!
