The lady spoke the maranda to collect a debt. She claimed I owed state of Oklahoma taxes for year 2011. I gave her my last #digits of my ss# and asked her for the case# so that I could call them due to me have a zero balance and I wasn't paying her anything. She said my case# is the last for of the ss#.

I tried asking her for her details. All she would tell me was her name: "Susan". Then she told me that they will only send me back to her for payment.
I asked for her phone number and she gave me this 888-817-4957 that belong to GC Services.
So now I'm wondering if Identity will be stolen.... :( I was at work with I got the call and it just totally took me by surprised. Someone got any suggestion on what to do now?!

OPERATIONS DIVISION appeared on the caller ID, picked up and a woman spoke and asked if this was so and so, and I said who is this, and she said is this so and so again, and I said who is this, and she said this is GC Services and said she was Ms. ________.  I believe this is a scam.

They wanted money and saying to send them a moneygram.  She said the quickest and cheapest ones are at Walmart. They said we would default on something. I am reporting them to the F.B.I., FTC, and the FCC.

They are scam!

I see that this blog is really old but I am still getting calls from this number and no one speaks. Trying to figure out how to ban this number. real a$$-0 :).

Operations Div called and asked for Ronald...?  Declined the call since no Ronald lived here.

This is a collection company who refuses to accept that the person they are calling for does not reside at my address.  They used some database to tie my new number and the last known address for the deadbeat they are calling for.  Not only are they annoying me they are rude and insist that they are in fact calling for someone who used to live here a long time ago.

They called me, but i did not answer...

They just called me about five minutes ago on my Connecticut cell phone. Some lady asked if she could speak with "Scott" and I just said she had the wrong number and she said "Oh, I'm very sorry." and hung up.

called for my wife with her maidan name hasnt been used in 6 years whats a laugh wouldnt tell me what it was and first time we have ever recieved a phone call from that number

Very Rude, would not even tell me who was calling unless I verified all my information.

This company has called  a couple of times and don't leave messages, so that tells me there's something isn't right.  There should be a way to report or block these nuisance call.!

I just got a call and they asked if this was my residence, correct last name.  When I said yes, she said she was looking for someone else at a different address.  Caller ID also saod "Operations Division"

received this call this afternoon.  When I answered, no one there.  Caller Id said Operations Division.  Have no idea who it was.

That's what I got, it rang once and stopped then NATIONAL AUTO called at 732-941-0192 which I found odd.

Caller ID said "Operations Div" but no message left on machine. Annoyed that they call continuously.

It's a company that tries collecting outstanding $$$ for tickets you owe.  As far as my research has got me to believe.  But the smarter thing to do would just pay it at the local city hall!

Call came up as operations Div. I looked it up on the internet and saw all of these post.  Will not answer the phone when they call.  Thanks everyone who posted a comment it really helps

Several calls saying it was not a solicitatio or sales call, it was re time sensitive information reagarding info I requested?  Bull puckey, I will answer next time and rip new A-hole

I just got the same type of call!  I simply told them they had the wrong number...and they said sorry for the call.  but was wondering what was up.  Sounds fishy to me too...maybe its some sort of tactic to catch people off guard by using their last name?

An unknown person called and asked for someone by the same name as my last name but had never heard of the first name he gave. I said no one by that name lives here, but what was the call regarding? He answered and said "it was a personal mater and to disregard the call", and then hung up. seams fishy to me.....

Recieved a call from 1-405-722-2328, said it wasn't me. I called back & a women asked me for my drivers license # like I'm actually going to give it
to her, what a scam. Someone should do something about these type of scams.

The lady tried to get last 4 digits of my SSN. She claimed I owed state of Connecticut taxes for year 2003. I have never lived in that state, so I don't think I owe them any taxes.

I tried asking her for her details. All she would tell me was her name: "Ms. Clark". Then she read out some random 4 digits and asked if they were the digits of my SSN. They were not.

Seems like a bogus call.

Called to say it was a personal call for Steve Kidney????

This number calls our business and leaves a message to please return the call so I did and I informed them that the person they are seeking is not with this company and is unknown to us.  The woman said she would make a note on the file so we should not be called again.
